Indeed it is, but that's what I think the future of this generation is going to be. I'll be buying this book from Amazon if I by chance win the gift card, else would have to wait till I get my pocket money.

Clones--along with androids and A.I.--often promise some of the deepest ethical explorations in science fiction. This isn't fully like but still reminds me a bit of The House of Scorpion by Nancy Farmer. It could be a very interesting read, although definitely one I'll have to pace myself through. Thank you for the helpful review.

It's always bad news when you feel pressured to do an act which you have reservations about and you do it anyway. I wonder how Kalin gets out of the mess he willingly walked into. Thanks for the review.

Faithmwangi wrote: โ†‘24 Jan 2019, 08:25 For some reason, authors nowadays paint the future as very dark times. As much as this is just a book, I do hope the occurrences do not take place in reality. I might give this read a try. Thanks for the review.

You're too right about that. But Project Tau doesn't quite paint a morbid picture of the future. I just finished the book, and I really, really enjoyed it. The elements of 'slavery' and such to which 'projects' are subjected to in her future are not much different from what's going on in the world right now. Her world building focused more on just upgrading the present, the mentality of the characters and even the bit of society we do read about is basically the same as the kind we have today.

What's really great about Project Tau is it's characters and writing. If you've read as many recent YA novels as I have, you'll know that the characters and writing a lot of authors are coming up with are terrible at best. And PT is like a breath of fresh air in that mess, and I am so pleasantly surprised to see this published as an indie novel.

My only problem with the book is that it did have a few loopholes in the story. But otherwise, I can't recommend it enough!

This is an amazing book no doubt. The author's ability to portray the would-be future was intoxicating and provocative. Thanks for an outstanding review you did this book justice.

I have read some sci-fi novels, but they were either too long or have very confusing creatures, story, technology etc. But this story is different. I'll like to try my hands on this one. Also, it is not that large. Thanks for the review!!

I always enjoy a bit of humour but I hate these futuristic books. The horrible things that we may have to go through someday, are something id rather not think about.

Although the plot seems intriguing. I will pass on this apocalyptic story. A frightening story is just not my type of read.

Now this should have been the March book of the month! Here is a story that is a stand alone novel and it looks extremely good. Definitely one to add to my book list. Thanks for the great review.
