Seems like this book has a pretty well-developed plot. I’m not a big sci-fi reader, but I may check this one out. Great review!

In the book the writer describes the humilations of Andreas Marset, the earth hero. From his expereince he derives inspirations and courage to forge ahead. The author pointed out the hero's grief and failed plans to subdue the aliens (enemies). Despite the enemies increases around him.

The book seems to be an interesting combination of sci-fi and fantasy. Based on the review, it seems to be a solid plotline with well-developed characters. Magic and aliens together is a complex combination, but it looks like the author has handled it well. Thank you for the detailed review.

Too bad there are so many errors. The novel seems to address serious human rights issues. Issues which apparently will remain no matter which planet people reside on and no matter which century they belong to. Great review.

The twists and turn of events that intrigues suspense is what I love in my story. And true, a gripping science fiction and fantasy story is enjoyable. I like that the story isn't confusing. I will read the book.

An original sci-fi story sounds interesting but the sample didn't impress me much. The book 'feels' on the heavy side so I'll pass on this one. It's too bad there were so many errors. Thank you for the detailed review!

As you've said, I think the author did a great job of creating a "complete" book. I found that your review gives a much better understanding to the backstory of the characters and plot. I enjoyed how personal and professional your review was and appreciate the detail.

This book seems to be a perfect blend of fantasy and sci-fi. We get a taste of time travel, paranormal characters, and galactic wars. I would surely pick up such a book at the blink of an eye. I hope a second book is to follow as well!

I have to admit this is definitely not a book I would normally choose to read. How ever I do like stories with people having powers of some kind, so that part intrigued me. It also seems Andrea's has tension through the whole book with trying to find someone to trust. I am not sure I will eventually read it, but o can say I'm closer to a yes than all the previous times it's been chosen for BOTD. Congratulations for getting BOTD again.

I don’t usually read books that have anything to do with history. It just wasn’t my strong subject in school. But this book has me insanely interested! It makes me wonder what made Andreas stand out from the other soldiers and why they chose to pick on him and if that has some sort of correlation with the Nazis/Jews.

It sounds interesting and inspiring how Andrea deals with the enemies while also dealing with his own personal problems.

I usually love movies about humans moving to another planet, but I've never really read a book like this. So I'll check it out. Loved your review, it was very thorough.

A common genre still executed in an exciting, original, new way. Love the writing style of the author as well. The character development and plot is well formed as well.

Emy Katherine wrote: 30 Nov 2019, 09:58 I enjoyed the sample, but I will pass on this one as this is not my genre. Sounds perfect for fans of sci-fi stories, though. I agree with your post. It's not my genre, but it does sound perfect for sci-fi fans.
