This sounds like a treat! Suspenseful realism with a bit of romance thrown in the mix sounds perfect. I look forward to diving in and reading about the tales of Kat and Thomas in this book and the series that follows. Thank you so much for your well-written and insightful review! Set in the Elizabethan times, this story must be one of adventure. The story follows Kat and Thomas who are proving to be amazing and interesting characters of the story that I feel attracted to read it.

Definitely an interesting book to read. Very unique plot and really keeps the reader on his toes. Author really thought out of the box for a new refreshing story. Want to see it produce as a movie.

I was immediately interested in this book after reading the title. The official review gave a good synopsis of the story and the characters are somewhat unigue since some are from another planet but have the same powers as some on this planet. I immediately though about Superman and his special powers after coming from another planet. I do plan to read this entire book that was provided for free. Thank you very much. I am adding this book to my book shelf.

Great review. This sounds like a very interesting book I always enjoy differing versions of the story told by the various characters. I think it tends to make the story more dynamic. I look forward to reading if they escape the clutches of Anstey.

I've enjoyed reading your review, and would like to read more about Thomas and Kat as their relationship with each other grow stronger, hopefully. Thanks for the review.

Anstey seemed lile a character-based novel. He has some flaws that might ruin his life. He should be careful with strangers.

Drug-trafficking, slave-trading, and other nefarious activities taking place in secret caves beneath a secluded mansion sounds juicy enough, but then there is some suspenseful witch condemnation too?! This sounds like quite the book. Looking forward to diving into it with both eyes open!

After reading the synopsis, I wasn’t very interested in this book, but your description of the plot has changed my mind entirely.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

This seems like an interesting and captivating book. I'm particularly curious about who the betrayer is.
