I loved the book it was great and amazing.
I never would have thought a book would open my eyes to all of these things that I never knew about. I've read and read and re-read the book again. The title makes me smile

I did like the review. What I liked most is the way the other related books are introduced and explained for us to have the whole picture of the collection.

Wonderful review. I think I will add this to my to read list. An airborne pathogen, and being trapped in their home, sounds familiar.

Great review! I’ll go ahead and admit that horror is not a go-to genre for me and never has been. While there is some I have seen, and even liked, it's still a very small selection. That said, it’s highly unlikely that I’ll read this book or it’ll be a good while before I decide to, at the very least. However, that doesn’t stop me from recommending it to someone who would get a kick out of it.
"The Matryoshka Loop" deals with an expedition seeking gigantic wasps, and the crazy results of capture and imprisonment in the creatures' lair.
I just have to say, I figured matryoshka dolls held some sort of place/symbolism since they’re featured in the cover art, but even this is more “out of the box” than I was expecting.

Kevin Vodden’s Disarrhoea sounds like a gripping mix of sci-fi and horror short stories. I’m intrigued by the airborne pathogen’s chaos in the first short story and the strange thrill in the short story Fearground.

Thank you for that in depth review, it really helps me as to what to expect in this novel. The book opens well.. with a very intriguing first paragraph.. which puts me in mind of the pandemic. It seems like an entertaining read.

The horror genre isn't really my thing. Nonetheless, I'll make an exception because of this review detailed analysis of this book.

The cover captured my attention, and the review confirms the expected intriguing nature of the plot. The first one is a reminder of COVID. Short stories are always more appealing. Adding this one to my list to read.
Well-written review.

"Disarrhoea" by Kevin Vodden is a funny, innovative, and horrifying mix of six sci-fi and horror, taking the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotional highs.
Disarrhoea, Fearground, Terror Pericolosa, The Matryoshka Loop, Eat Thy Neighbour, and Credit Where Credit's Due are the featured stories, each presenting fresh and unique plots. One could say that Kevin Vodden is a master crafter of horrific sci-fi.

Although I am not interested in horror sorry, being about to write six stories in one book accentuates the author's writing prowess. This will be a great recommendation for lovers of horror though. Congratulations on BOTD.

Great long and detailed review! I am not a fan of horror or sci-fi stories, but this one seems interesting. However, I have decided to pass on this one.
