I too am part of the crowd who has waited a little too long to read the Harry Potter books. I thought they were just for young children. My niece has loved reading them for years. I just started my Harry Potter journey this year.

The library did not have "The Sorcerer's Stone" so I started with "The Chamber of Secrets". This book is a great read with plot twists that keep you guessing the entire time. The story line is so rich and full of characters that it will blow you away. Rowling goes the extra mile to keep all the balls in the air as in all the minor characters and subplots. This book is a great read and I would recommend it to everyone.

Harry Potter......omg. this was my first real introduction into fantasy novels. These books are still apart of my life today. I read them every 6 months or so and am currently trying to get my daughter into them (seeing as she's 11 years old). My 7 year old can't wait to read them!!!

I grew up on this book. So, it is one of my favorite series of all time. This series first couple books created an entire generation of new authors and creative minds. It also made the romance of a starving artist romantic again. If you know what I mean. There were so many life lesson in J.K. Rowling's books and it they touched so many lives.

The series is just amazing always leaving you wanting more. This series got me into reading and I guess I have it to thank for that. Now my cupboard bookshelf contains so many books from the hunger games to the selection to the Martian. The writing is amazing and the characters are relatable. You wish that you could go to a school where magic was the main focus and there were flying cars and serpants and evil dudes without a nose who shall not be named. The series overall is amazing and I'm SO HAPPY THAT AN EIGHTH BOOK IS COMING OUT; The Cursed Child which takes place 19 years after the epilogue and I'm excited for fantastic Beasts and Where to find them.

I am thinking about purchasing the box set. I used to have all the books but they disappeared over the years! But this post definitely made my day!
