The tale begins with a horrible image of what was left of Bellona and her 13-member squad in Thunder Valley. The enthralling writing instantly transfers the reader to a another universe. That, along with an OBC review claiming The Great Migration is a terrific book, has peaked my interest. Congratulations for being named BOTD!

I’ll be the first to admit that with sci-fi, I have to be very interested in the story at hand or just be in the mood for it. If the energy of this book is anything like the energy that I’m getting from this review (in other words, great!), then it might just be worth a shot to read!
In all of the action and thrill, readers would also find life-encouraging tips from this book. One of the characters, Bellona Stanick, gave readers a powerful nugget to meditate on: "...all living things suffer and that we should not allow the pain of life to make us unkind."
Wow, what a fitting lesson/encouragement to kick off 2024! Congratulations to Steve Ramirez for the first BOTD of the year, and once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR OnlineBookClub.org!!!

Seems like a great addition to the science fiction genre in my collection. New concepts in tradition, detailed well interwoven characters written into the plot, are things that fascinate me. Even better that it's part of a series where the arcs can be continued. Thanks for the wonderful review!!

I like a good review which does not give away spoilers. The characters Luta & Bellona seem worthy of one to read this book. The reviewer has summarized the book without giving any spoilers in a very nice way.

The book has been given its due praises and rating based on the information present in the review. I would normally love a book with an interesting plot whether in the sci-fi, thriller or adventure genre. But this book seems too bulky for me. The strange names are throwing me off and I might just pass on it. Congratulations to the author.
