HARRY POTTER IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I love all the books but my favourites would have to be The Prisoner Of Azkaban and The Half Blood Prince. If you haven't read the series I seriously recommend it. You don't know what you're missing out on. :D

I have read the Harry Potter books and watched the movies. The first few were great and fascinating. Young Harry looses his parents and finds out he has magical powers, however during his struggles with his family he finds hope and joy in his new found friends and the school of magic that he attends. But for me after the first three series it kind of just repeats itself, and I lost interest. Thanks for the first three novels.

I absolutely LOVED the Philosopher's Stone, The Goblet of Fire, and Deathly Hallows! My least favourite would have to be the Order of the Phoenix.

I was definitely a huge Harry Potter fan back in high school. I have all of the movies and books. I read the series in its entirety at least three times. My favorite was either Order of the Phoenix or Half-Blood Prince. My least favorite was Prisoner of Askaban. I'm not sure why I was never really fond of that one.

My friends and I often have long winded conversations about subtle details within the Harry Potter books. I feel like I should be ashamed of how much time and effort I spend thinking about/reading/watching this series, but I don't. I am completely shameless when it comes to my love of the Harry Potter universe.

I absolutely love Harry Potter. It's my go-to book series when I can't find something to interest me. I have read all of them except Deathly Hallows. I keep starting it, but haven't made my way all the way through it. But I am looking forward to getting to review many more books on here!

I loved the Harry Potter series. I can read those books over and over again. It is like visiting old friends. I have re-read the series several times, I can't read just one without reading the entire series.

I am the EXACT same way. It's never a "I want to read the Goblet of Fire" moment, it's a "I want to read the entire series" moment. Then the next few months I spend re reading books that I basically have memorized. What's so fun though is that I always find something new in each book every time I read them over. They never disappoint. :D

Ps. I really wish there was a wizard smiley that I could use for this post. haha

I have much enjoyed the Harry Potter books since they came out. The movies were also enjoyable to watch, though the seventh book split into two felt slightly unnecessary. Does anybody know much about the new book, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child?

I think it's supposed to be about Harry's son when he's in school. 19 years after the final book ended.

I really love the whole series; especially the variety of characters meaning everyone has somebody in the books that they can relate to. One thing that really dissapointed me was the eventual commercialisation of the series. This is primarily seen, of course, in the movies and the way that they were portrayed, but also in other ways. My pet peeve with this issue is (what I believe to be) the almost tangible deadlines she was set with the last book. She had such a good story, but it just felt like, when reading it, that you could feel the pressure she was under from her publishers. I feel like this happens with a lot of novels so I prefer to read series that are either already complete, non-mainstream or were written by a good author but hasn't yet been tainted by Hollywood. For instance the 'Gregor the Overlander' series by Caroline Lawrence is a personal favourite of mine, and I knew she was good from reading the Hunger Games and so I very much enjoyed that series. People often talk about traveling to new worlds through books, and although I do love discussing books, and I could do it all long, I also like to take a journey by myself and read a book that perhaps not all my friends have read yet.

Read it already. Nice book actually. There are a lot of twist that will makes you finish it in one go. When they released the book last July 31 and I was able to download a pdf copy, I already read it even though I was at work. No words can describe how great the book is. :)

I absolutely love Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling is an amazing author. My favorite is Goblet of Fire, but they're all great. I know this post has been about the seven novels, but I will add that I was really disappointed in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I do realize it was not written by J.K. Rowling (and there's the primary difference). Perhaps it would be more enjoyable to see live, as it is a script of the play, but I was unhappy with the writing and how the older Harry Potter characters were portrayed.
