The book sounds amazing but I'm still in the dark as to what happened to her during her moment of despair. I guess that is part of the book's suspense.

Thanks for the review, it was well articulated and detailed.

The theme of healing and redemption will always be timeless. However, my best element in this book is the story concept, showing the relationship between a human and an AI device. No other fantasy story sounds like this, and I'm sold on that alone. Nice one!

It seems as an interesting book that portrays fantasy, healing and redemption with use of technology. A must read to everyone who likes modernization. Thanks for your review

This actually sounds kind of terrifying! If I had an Amazon Alexa that became self aware and started making decisions for me I would freak out :lol2:

I find it interesting how the author has merged an innovative premise with the message of healing and redemption. The development of central character seems to be the central point of the storyline. The read does sound quite intriguing. Thank you for the detailed review.

I love the messages behind this novella (I’m not always the best about my body image). The idea of Alexa becoming autonomous sounds whimsical at first, but then I remember that people have actually had issues before with their Alexa saying random and creepy things for seemingly no reason, and the next step of full autonomy doesn’t sound so whimsical anymore. This story still sounds interesting, though. Thank you for the helpful review.

Dodie Meister mixed up creativity with a contemporary touch. I love the way Amazon Alexa comes in as an option to Milly's despair. Thank you for your review.
