Yeah, comparing two popular book series is a description that may say twice the fun to some. While others might see it as a double copycat feature. Of course, comparing two series with a grand cast of characters is less likely to feel cliche from such comparisons. The characters choosing their own names is a nice distinguishing touch though. Great review!

End of the Last Great Kingdom by Victor Rose seems a very interesting and fun read. I am a big fan of Harry Potter, so this book is obviously for me. Congratulations on #botd.

I do enjoy fantasy books, every now and then, but this novel somehow seems to be out of my interest zone. I love the magic and adventure that this story explores, but I'm still trying to figure out what's holding me back. However, your description - "Harry Potter meets Game of Thrones" - sounds like an interesting mixture. Thank you for the recommendation!

It sounds a bit strange to have young characters take on responsibility that trained adults should be doing. The part about The Order investigates a creature and scapegoats Brimstone seems interesting, though. Great review.

Sound like an interesting read but I am having mixed feelings about the dark aspects of the book. Great & detailed review.

Now that you're complaining about lack of details i wonder if the characters were well developed. Anyways, thanks for a great phone.

This is a very honest review as you do not simply give the book four stars even though it is quite great. Well done

I love storylines that project kids taking responsibility early. This shows how we're preparing them for the future. Great review.

I love the fast pace of the book and the combination between traditional epic fantasy and the more realistic elements of the story. I'm anxious to read the novel and follow Brimstone and his friends in their adventures. Thanks for your review!

Great review! I definitely get the Harry Potter vibe from the three main characters and the school. I do like a good fantasy and am intrigued to read this now to see where the game of thrones element show them self's in the story :D

Brimstone's chronicles sounds intriguing but this is not a kind of book I would read.

End of the Last Great Kingdom by Victor Rose is a #DarkFantasy tale that chronicles the #ComingOfAge and #Adventures of Mage Brimstone and his friends. It is the first book in The Brimstone Chronicles.

Thanks for the review.

In "End of the Last Great Kingdom", Victor Rose weaves a dark fantasy tale with epic worldbuilding, extraordinary creatures, and thrilling battle scenes. It follows the adventures of Leaf, a mage school student who has no clue of his magic capability.
