Yes. Me as well. Hopefully the author can revise it some. Thanks for the comment.

I do really like the idea of this story with the obedient and highly trained soldiers; the main character being the success. However, your review informing us that the passive voice is used often kind of turns me off of putting effort into reading it. I almost don't want to ruin the good idea with the unedited first draft. Maybe I'll keep an eye on it and see if it improves before reading the book.
Thanks for the review.

Thank you for your descriptive review. The comments above pretty much encompass what I thought on reading it. Seeing as there's no point in repeating what others have articulated quite well, I'll leave it at that.

What an interesting premise for this book. I hope the author will get the book professionally edited and rework parts of it so that it can reach its full potential. Great review! :)

I hope that as well. This is not one that's beyond repair; in fact, I think it could be quite good. Thanks so much.

This definitely sounds like a fast-paced mystery, which I do like from time to time. However, I'll have to give this a pass after reading your review, or at least after the author has run this through a couple of rounds of editing. Thanks for the review!

It is too bad about the editing because the premise of the story sounds quite interesting. Thanks for the great review!

The author can engage good editors to make the book a thriller as it is. Your review is great.
