Masters and Bastards by Christopher J. Penington is a science fiction, and it sounds interesting. I like science fiction a lot. I would love to read this book.

I'm not into this kind of sci-fi novel. Space isn't something that I enjoy reading so I am going to pass on this one.

I wasn’t sure how interested I would be in a sci-fi genre, but immediately the author jumps into action, trepidation, and really specific (while not overwhelming) detail.

I think I need to add more than the sample to my shelves based upon the sample AND this review.

Although I like sci-fi novels, the review of "Masters and Bastards" by Christopher J. Penington indicates that I will not really enjoy reading it. So, I will pass on this one. Thanks!

I really enjoy stories that splice science fiction and fantasy. This sounds like a great read! Thanks for your review!

A sci-fi story line that take place in another galaxy is a great idea to read of. I will love to read this book. Nice review.

I am a great fan of sci-fi stories. I am willing to go on adventure with Andreas and reveal more about plot and aslo other planets included. Thank you for your engaging review.

The review was long but also interesting to read and the book itself sounds just as interesting, even although it is also long. Being from Africa myself, I suppose I can't help wonder whether the author had our world and society in mind when he wrote this. It sounds very similar to what Africa and the rest of the world was like a short while back, and even still is today. I am interested to read about the plots and the sub-plots, and the science in the story also sounds good. Altogether, this sounds like a very diverse and compelling story, set in a fascinating world. I enjoyed the review as it seemed to convey a great deal about the book without giving anything away.

I would not have guessed this was a sci-fi novel from the title or cover art. I'm happy to hear there's another great addition to the genre.

Thank you for your review! While the creative storyline and well-developed characters sound engaging and suspenseful, today's BOTD is not one that interests me. However, for those who enjoy unique SciFi and Fantasy reads, this may be right up your alley! Thanks again! :-)

I love this review. The details are clearly and summary is superb. The story sounds irresistible and a must read. The sample got me into my thinking. The graghics are realistic too. Congrats on being BOTD.

Thanks for the review, but I'm pretty much done with both fantasy and sci-fi, and I definitely don't want to read this military science fiction with the many grammatical errors that you mentioned.

Excellent review! Congratulations! You clearly created an image in my mind about what this novel is all about, and it's hard to say "no" to a complete book. It is indeed a unique occasion to escape into the world that Penington masterfully created in Masters and Bastards. Strong characters, mystery, conspiracy, technology, politics, military, and racial themes - all in one sci-fi work.
