Sounds complicated and all the more intriguing because of it. I never read any book with similar to this premise, so it is something new to me and very interesting. Thanks for great review! It convinced me to give this book a try and I already enjoyed sample a big deal. Congratulations with BOTD!

Oh my! Creatures with names we don't know. Humans who can metamorph. Scifi at its best, but unfortunately not for me. But congrats on BOTD

The world is divided into two realms made up of Infants (third dimensionals) and Matures (fourth dimensionals). Matures are able to shapeshift from humans into majestic, magical creatures. Vampacoti are large cats (cougars, sabertooth tigers, etc.). Avians are large birds (owls, falcons, and hawks). Equuians are large horses. Cetacites are whales. Canites are large wolves. Some Matures are able to create portals between the dimensions and between locations within the dimensions. Some Matures create and work with a special kind of technology. Everything is infused with an energetic light that is easy for a Mature to see, feel and use to enhance their individual powers.
Wow! That seems like complicated world-building! I admire the author's imagination but it's not my kind of read. Thanks!

I am intrigued by the descriptive writing by the author. I prefer to read books that are part of a series in order though so while I am placing this #BOTD on my want to read shelf, I am going to find the first book and start from the beginning. Great job giving a basis of what sounds like a suspenseful fantasy book.

I love fantasy and magic books. The idea of four dimensions sounds intriguing too. This seems like exactly my kind of book series.

I like that the author divided the world into different dimensions. However, I think reading this book will be extremely difficult, especially due to these classifications. Thanks for the review.

A secret child, destined for greatness and leadership, placed in the care of a common family until she is mature enough to save the world reminds me of the story of Moses in the Bible. The added world-building and inclusion of unique, shape-shifting characters make for an exciting read. I think the author writes very well, with a hint of enchantment behind his words. Thanks for a glowing review!
