The book appears to be more of a horror than fantasy 😲 however I think it could be of much help for people with a low self esteem. There is a bunch of us who cannot accept how we look and it is serious! Wow, I believe it is a good read. The review is insightful also! Thank you.

This modern fairy tale involving an Amazon Alexa device is quite intriguing. I think a lot of women go through the body image issues that Milly experiences in this story. I believe that I will have a look at this novella.

Thank you for an excellent review!

Interesting concept to have Amazons Alexa come to life and play a part in a novella. To be honest, I am not sure how I feel about the book, I have to read a few more pages myself.

This genre is not really my go-to, however, the review was good. I downloaded it and may read it down the road.

A story about a relatable and realistic protagonist with body-image problems? Amazing character development? Mirror, Mirror...? sounds like a worthy read, for sure! Thank you for your beautiful review!

What a humorous concept! Truly a modern fairytale. Amazon Alexa acts as a combination magic mirror and Jiminy Cricket. The character development seems progressive for such a short story.

I think it’s really unique and interesting how the author has incorporated a modern technological marvel like Alexa to be a main player in this unusual story, and for that reason I think this would be a fascinating read for me. Well done to the author, and also to the reviewer for an excellent summary of this book.

I always enjoy when writers reinvent fairy tale plot points with updated technology. Using Alexa as the enchanted mirror is an excellent twist to an old theme. The book sounds like a lot of fun, and I'm glad that the author uses humor and fantasy to address the very serious issue of health and body image. Best of luck in finding a grateful audience for this book and congrats on being awarded BOTD.

At first I marked this one as "not interested in reading," but after your review I've changed my mind! (Too bad about the editing errors!)

With relatable themes and positive messages about body image and self-acceptance, today's BOTD will appeal to a wide audience. The storyline is well thought-out, and the characters are well-developed. I can't wait to see 48-yr old Milly's transformation in this modern-day fairy tale! Thank you so much! :-)

The book seems interesting. A simple fiction story about a girl named Millie and how she transforms after her husband abandoned her. I would love to read the changes and how her life changes. It's a great review.
