The story is fascinating, thank you for the great review. People went through all kind of hardships and encountered all sorts of dangers to find a place they can call home. In your review it is obvious that you really enjoyed the book. I am going to read it as well, I am sure I will also like it.

It is interesting how they looked up to a supreme being to help them in their lives. And the other supernatural beings you mention? Do they interfere in their lives or just watch them? I think I'd find this book interesting. Amazing review. Well done.

Aram sounds like an interesting character. The dangers faced by the clan make it sound like this book is full of action and adventure. I enjoyed reading your review!

I am undecided about this one. Normally I am not into supernatural books, but it does sound like there is a lot of excitement to this one. I will think about it. Maybe it might be one of those ones I would actually like. Thanks for your detailed review. I appreciate it.

This sounds like a book from a very harsh area where they have to adapt to changes. I think being able to settle into a place you don't belong takes a lot of courage. It is enlightening to know that they had a God to look up to during such intense and trying times. Fighting enemies requires them to have faith.

In today's modern world, we take a lot for granted. All the necessities of life are easily accessible to us. Here, in this book, are people who had to fight to lay hold of just food and water.
In modern western culture, we do take a lot for granted. But this book might also be an analogy for the many current dangers people face, including areas of the world where food and water are not easily obtainable, even today.

I enjoyed your review very much!

Don't get me wrong, but to me personally description isn't all that inspiring. Despite some intrigue put into the story, plot is quite ordinary for the genre and thereby hard to gain much interest. I still hope the book will be able to surprise me, so thanks for gift and congratulations on the BOTD!

I’m glad that I don’t live in a time where things were so difficult and I’m also glad that I’m not. Someone who has to make decisions for a large group. Someone would always e unhappy. While I’m OK with that, I don’t think it would end with someone only. Being unhappy..

You’re right about how we take so many things for granted today. What we call roughing it, they called survival. I honestly couldn’t imagine having to resort back to those times.

This is certainly an adventurous book to read.
I am quite sure there are numerous things to learn about Living in the early ages was like. It definitely was going to be quite difficult and hectic.
Nice review.

I love both adventure and science fiction so the themes are definitely of my interest. Clan fighting for land also sound adventurous enough so might as well give this book a try. congrats on BOTD

The storyline has some interesting subjects, but I don't like to read fantasy in general. Thank you for the great review
