This novel is a promising sci-fi novel to read, the setting is in the future so I think it requires extra imagination to picture the scenes especially english is not my native language. I loved the opening line "for all the dreamers who see beyond the veil" that is really hit me. It's a pity I could only read the sample.

Looks like this book has many interests and enough stuff to stick on. I will put it on my TBR and as a fact I may buy a hardcopy of it although Sci-fi isn't my kind of genre. But this review has given me a small puss to try, good job!

This is a riveting and captivating review. I will definitely read this book. The characters in this book feel very real to me. Arlud's personality and Bev transformation are worth reading about.

A fantastic science fiction book "Chaos Rising" by P.D. Blackwell. The story follows an explosion destroying a Polinda colony mine and killing many people. The story looks interesting to read.

Thank you for this great review! The characters in this novel are unique, and the world-building is intricate. Aldus sounds like a charismatic leader, and Colli represents a strong woman and a survivor.

The plot is quite intriguing, but I see there's so much going on. From the timeframe 3525, the world must have undergone a lot of technological advancements and wars. This promises to be an interesting read, but I fear I may get bored because of the difficult names I'm seeing.

I absolutely love the science fiction genre, and although the slow start might not be to my liking, I will definitely give it a go.

You've written an Awesome review! I enjoyed reading about Beth. The cool cucumber in face of danger. And the book's vivid descriptions are nice as well. I like this novel world description that I'm yet to uncover.

From the review, I guess the book is thrilling sci-fi action. I enjoy actions. Also, sci-fi always brings satisfaction when seeing the author's technological advancement. This must be on my next-read list.

I really liked this series, read all three books at once during the holidays and couldn't tear myself up till the last page available)) Good one, very atmospheric and reminding of great sci-fi movies of old. It is a classic to find a mining colony or space ship, some extremely isolated place, attacked by an unknown force, but it's only start of awesome adventure to unravel a mystery. Excellent writing and plot, so my most sincere congrats on BOTD!

This sci-fi fiction novel has a slow start but it's very captivating and suspenseful after a while. The characters are admirable and developed in such a way that the reader can empathize with easily. I especially like that it is set in the future with futuristic concepts. Congrats on the BOTD!

I'm intrigued by this ‘refreshing voice’. I'm appalled that we're still engaged in mining that far into the future, although I shouldn't be given our penchant for destruction. I would definitely give this a try.

This is an amazing science fiction fantasy novel highlighting alliances, revenge, faith, loyalty, secrecy, war, determination, and old wounds, and instigation. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD.
