I think this is a continuation of Zona the Forbidden Land. I loved the first book and I would definitely add this to my list too. Congrats to the BOTD author!

Great review! If I’m ever in the mood for a straight action-packed adventure, this seems like a good indulgence for such! Although it’s stated that this book works just fine on its own, I would be interested in reading the first one for the sake of being completely filled in on everything and since others are taking about how good it is.

This novel sounds intriguing. Sci-filled is one of my favorite genres. And reading the review and additional comments, it appears that I'll also have to look for the first book in the series.

Thanks for the review. Life is more than survival. It's about friends, loyalty, bravery, respect, protection, fairness, family, and love. Learn from Zona II, apply it in life, share, and pass it on. That's the true meaning of life. Congrats to the author, # BOTD!

Thorough review, thank you. This book sounds like an action-packed adventure. I haven’t read anything by this author before but as I understand the first book in this series was a hit. I find the saber-toothed lion clan to be quite a unique and interesting choice of adversary. Well done on #BOTD.

Wow, your review of "Zona II: Sabertooth Uprising" is incredibly enticing! The way you describe the blend of themes—love, adventure, bravery—and the suspense-relief dynamics in the storyline makes it sound absolutely captivating. The author's ability to create such an engaging narrative and maintain a unique pace while keeping the characterization intriguing truly speaks volumes about their talent. It's impressive that even without reading the first book, you found this one easy to follow. The fact that you could identify only a few errors speaks volumes about the editing and care put into the book's production. Your 5-star rating and recommendation for science fiction enthusiasts make me eager to dive into this thrilling world myself!

I had to pass the first book: "Zona: The Forbidden Land", since I, on principal, refuse read anything related to Russia. To be honest, I see no reason to complain according to the description in the review of this book itself, but the fact I don't read the series as stand-alone. It is quite sad because it has all the makings of an enjoyable pastime, but I will have pass this story as well. Still, congratulations on BOTD!

"Zona II" by Fred G. Baker. An interesting book talks about Grant and his team members, which survived the lions and had another threat from the lions in their camp. Members were dead, some injured. But Grant then had a strong relationship with the wolf kingdom for protection. This book is filled with creative writing relating nature to science and civilization. Congrats on your #BOTD.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the first book in this series. I have been looking forward to reading the next installment. After reading the sample and the book review, I have added it to my reading list. I can't wait to see what happens to Grant Taylor and his expedition team as they team up with the dire wolves to combat the sabertooth lions. Well done!
