A great review! Brain transplants to have a second chance in living seems like a unique twist on the "you only live once" phrase. Though the character development is lacking, the plot very much intrigues me.

This sounds like an interesting story. The absence of character development is mildly concerning, but the plot sounds amazing. Thanks for the great review!

I typically don't read sci fi stories but this one sounds interesting. I imagine brain transplants may definitely be something in the not too distant future. Thank you for your nice review!!

Thanks for the review. Character development can be so important and I wish more authors realized that. I enjoy a book so much better when the characters are well developed and not deeply involved in the book.

As reviewer e-tasana-williams mentioned, there are
many similarities to the world we live in today. The futuristic elements in this story are mainly related to medical innovations and lifestyle changes resulting from global warming.
This is not escapist enough for me. Global warming is important and I do not want to minimize its importance. However, I am exhausted by the constant reformulations and restatements that it should be the first thing I should think about every morning. I will pass on this book but want to make the observation that the writing style is engaging. I liked the sample.

What a curious book! The idea of this type of "future" isn't original but the author's take on it definitely is!

Great review! It's too bad it's mostly plot-driven--I prefer character driven books.

I am not normally drawn to Scifi or futuristic reads. But, I loved the sample on Amazon, and your review peaked my interest even more! I like that it is set in the near future, rather than 1000 years from now. Such an interesting concept! I think I just might take a chance on this one! Thank you so much!!

Thank you very much for your review. I read a few pages and I agree with you, it is an enjoyable reading. Futuristic novelse call my attention, especially because I may still be alive by 2038 and compare the novel to reality ☺

Thanks for the great review. This seems to be a challenge for prosecutors. The author is very clever to write a futuristic fiction. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Nice review! The Book sounds like it is a fun read. I Don't like post-apoplectic type books, so this one might be a good alternative for me.

The Pursuit of Time by William. H. May. This book had me hooked from get go. This is a page turning. Very interesting topic. It show how the use of technology can change the world for a positive. I was enjoying the story told by John. I would like to read the whole book.
