The Pygmy Dragon by Marc Secchia is in the class of the book I read. Hmm, sci-fi/fantasy.
I can't wait to having my copy.

A fantasy tale about Pip, a pygmy girl, who, after spending several years in a cage in a zoo, is rescued by a dragon. The fact that she retains her good nature even after she is ridiculed, and caged is endearing. Thanks for the review.

It is not something I would read, but I appreciate a fantasy novel that shows some depth and beautiful writing.

For those who love fantasy reads about dragons, today's free BOTD sounds like the one for you! Your review was excellent and really did the book justice. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I could make it through a 400pg book with only one likable character. Kudos to the author on this perfectly-edited novel! Thanks!

It sounds like the author took something that he loves and created a fascinating storyline around it. Pip’s character seems likeable from what you have described. She keeps a good spirit about her even though she goes through hardship. That quality in a character is such a draw for me. Thanks for this great review and all the details.

First, the cover page is very intriguing. Pip transforming to a dragon makes the story unique. Will Pip defeat the great evil and save her word? The book also talks about culture and race which is very educative. Great review!

While fantasy is not typically a book I would automatically pick up, I enjoyed the underlying story about Pip being in a zoo and her story there. I also enjoyed how you explained your reasoning behind disliking the characters. At first I thought you would rate the book lower due to this but was pleasantly surprised at your end rating. Great review!

This sounds like a fun read to be enjoyed by most people but especially the young ones! Good to know the ending is satisfying and not hanging as is usually the case with series! Thanks for your review!

I don't think twice to read when it comes to fantasy. The cover page was enough for me to add this to TBR collection. Thanks for the free giveaway and congratulations on being BOTD. I am certain that this will marvel me

It doesn't sound like the racism and misuse of power are resolved in this story, or are used to make a larger point. So I will not be interested in reading the book. Thanks for giving us an introduction.

Unlike you, the artwork on the cover page discouraged me from considering the book. The transforming of human to a creature kind of make feel some type of way. But am glad you enjoyed reading the book. Incredible review. Kudos.

Cover page of this book captivated me and the title made me want to know whether the said dragon was of short stature or if the human being was the short one. Therefore, I'll definitely enjoy reading this fiction. So, thanks for the interesting review.
