Brimstone isn't entirely safe: he's a mage who still can't actually use any magic himself. He's also so poor he can't afford the necessary robes and weaponry he needs to continue his schooling, let alone afford eating three meals a day. The name he's made for himself also makes him a target of bigger, tougher students who want to show off, and when The Order comes around investigating a creature that killed numerous students he's made into a scapegoat.
Brimstone seems to have a really tough time, he has so many disadvantages.
Congratulations on BOTD and a review that balances the pros and cons of the book so honestly. I agree with you about the ages of the characters, I'm uncomfortable with the issues you detailed.

From your review, this book promises a lot of adventure. I like books that practice magic and show a little extravagance like GOT hence, I would love to read it. Great review.

Sound an interesting story, am fanatic of 'Hurry Potter'. Therefore "The Brimestone Chronicles" interest me a lot. The cover is very appealing. Thanks for the review of such an amazing fantasy story.

I do love a fast-paced fantasy book and I'm interested in the plot which sounds rather fascinating. Some aspects of the story as you highlighted in the review, however sounds off-putting. Thank you for your review.

Although not my genre it has been forced in society so I read the sample. I’m not surprised by the ages of the characters. It does read very well and done quickly. Thank you for the review.

It's quite an interesting plot especially if it can be likened to game of thrones and Harry Potter.

This review is incredible. I think my siblings would enjoy this fantasy. I have always believed even in fiction that witchcraft should be practiced by teenagers but my siblings would love this one.

Your review is well written but I will pass the book since I don't like the fact that children are described as killing other people, and torturing I can't read it.

An adventurous action packed fantasy novel "End of the Last Great Kingdom" by Victor Rose, which revolves around Leaf, a mage school student who fears of being removed from mage school is ready to take a fatal risk. A15 year old guys as the main cast makes it entertaining.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
