This is surely a huge turn off for me. But your review was really helpful. Good job!

Thank you for your detailed review! This sounds like a really great adventure story. I like that you included how the book describes Russia's natural beauty.

This sounds like an interesting adventure book. You wrote a great and honest review, thanks. I don't care much for alot of sex and violence, but I may give it a try.

I like adventure stories that are fast-paced. However, based on your review this book sounds 'readable'. I will add it to my reading list. Good review.

An interesting fictional adventure story with essence of danger, suspense, romance, and mystery is nicely presented in the book "Zona: The Forbidden Land" by Fred G. Baker. The story revolves around Grant Taylor, a university professor, who is on a pursuit to find his missing uncle who had gone to expedition into an unknown and forbidden zone near Siberia. The story appears quite entertaining.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The Amazon sample doesn't indicate that they are going on an expedition, nor does it seem to imply anyone dies. I was not expecting that based on the review. Sad but exciting. I like that you mention the scientific aspects of the book - some readers might find it interesting as I don't think that much is really known about Siberia. I agree that the writer did a good job introducing Russian words - it didn't sound forced.

What a beautifully written review. I am intrigued. I want to find out what happened to Grant's uncle, and how the expedition will turn out. Great job.

From what I've read of the book so far, I like the air of mystery about the characters from the very beginning. I am also very curious as to whether Grant's uncle is alive or dead. I'm curious about Grant's relationship with Irina due to their instant attraction but I wonder if she would help him or distract him. Thank you for your review.
