"Fish Wielder" by J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison. An interesting book, talks about a mighty barbarian warrior in Grome who's name is Thoral. This is a most read and the author's writing is good, combining comedy with action. Congrats on your #BOTD.

While I love the fantasy genre, this unique approach by the author makes me intrigued to find out more about Thoral and Brad's adventures, or rather, misadventures. Thanks for the awesome review!

I'm not a huge fan of fantasy novels and just from the OBC official review it sounds like there's a lot going on in this story. I find it hard to keep up with action-adventure stories like this one because of the hard to say names and otherworldly occurrings.

I love fantasy and I do not mind a bit of farcical entertainment now and then. This one sounds like an awesome read and I will definitely be reading this. I can only imagine what Thoral and his fish companion get up to in their many adventures. A big Kudos to the author on grabbing the #BOTD and congrats on the enthusiastic review.

This sounds like an interesting fantasy book. Thoral Mighty Fist and his traveling companion Brad, the fish. That is an uncommon mixture but I like it already. I wonder if Thoral's uncanny relationship with luck will still make him survive the quest this time around.
I like your review, it makes the book more intriguing.

Sounds like an interesting fantasy fiction. Sadly the genre is not my cup of tea and so I'll have to pass on this one. But congratulations on being listed as Book of the day.

"Uncanny relationship with luck". Nice description. I did notice that there is something gross and yet unbelievable in the story. The review mentioned that the main character has an uncanny relationship with luck. And it is an adventure magic/fantasy or 'farctasy" as suggested. Never mind! I am all for it.

In the fantasy genre "Fish Wielder" by J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison may be a standout that deserves to be called farctasy as it involves such frivolously wielded adventures and characters. How could one not be intrigued by a talking Koi named Brad and the exploits of The Brotherhood of the Pudding just as the start? This is just Book One of The Emperor of the Bracelet Trilogy so there is more to come in the next two books!

A sci-fi book that talks about how Thoral, a mighty barbarian warrior who stands a head taller than most other humans who dwell in Grome, and his friend, Brad, encounter several battles such as the Bad Religion and the Dark Brotherhood. Moving on in the story they will face a battle that nearly takes their lives. I like how the book contains a great plot twist and how the characters are well-developed. Nice review.

I'm glad to see that you really appreciated "Fish Wielder" by J.R.R.R. Hardison. It's wonderful that the unique mix of fantasy and farce captured your attention. The way Thoral Mighty Fist and his fish companion Brad navigate the world of Grome seems to have left quite an impression on you. Your observation about the balance between action and comedy, and how the author maintained the quality of writing, is insightful. Your 4 out of 4 star rating and recommendation to fellow readers who enjoy either farce or fantasy truly reflect your enthusiasm for the book. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

You had me as soon as you mentioned Brad! I love when humor is weaved in with fantasy and action. Makes the adventure far more enjoyable. Beautifully written. Will definitely give it a read.

A great and interesting fantasy adventure for all the fiction lovers out there. There is magic, and action together with the titular hero character with a magic sword just to make sure you are not missing anything. Should I also mention the beautiful heroines?

This book is unique in its take on the fantasy genre. I find it amusing that Thoral has a fish as a companion. However, it's not something I would enjoy reading.

Fish Wielder seems like a humorous and entertaining fantasy novel. The storyline is different from what readers might expect and it contains lots of quirky elements. Congratulations on making book of the day!
