I'm not sure if I'll read this. Although I'm a huge fantasy fan, I just can't get a feel for this one. Thanks for a great review.

I don't really like fantasy but the review is quite honest and entertaining, making me want to read more. Especially about the silliness of the book, I like it when an otherwise serious book contains comedy. What exactly about Thoral is special, that I'd like to know!

This is a fantasy that will not only mistify your mind to believe in the magical world of Grome, but will supply laughter with its comedic tone as well. "Fish Wielder" by J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison follows the many quests of Thoral Mighty Fish and his companion, a fish named Brad, to battle many enemies such as the Heartless One in the midst of danger. Farce and sci-fi fans will want to add this read to their library catalog. Thank you for a great review. Congrats on BOTD!

A very entertaining, if somewhat gory fantasy. Thoral, the mighty fish wielder his faithful companion Brad the Koi fish go on many dangerous adventures. The descriptions of the world they inhabit are extremely vivid. I enjoyed the the comedic aspect of the story, so tongue in cheek! I would love to see these characters brought to life in a sci fi movie, it would be hilarious! I loved your review. Definitely a fun read. :D :D

Although this is not really the genre that I like to read, I did enjoy your review and comments. The author seems to have take an unusual approach to this story and that’s what makes it interesting. Many thanks for your comments.

J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison seems to be a talented writer with his creation of fantasy characters Thoral Mighty Fist, his companion Brad the fish, and the dreaded Heartless One, and, the search for the lost Pudding of power, in this mix of adventure, farcical, comedy, in the Gnome world. I like that it is a tale of legitimate fellowship of friends facing dangers along the way. You have written the review so well.
Congratulations Jim on the BOTD!

This book holds much adventure that the reader will love. I loved the first parts where the fish wielder (or is it fist wielder) is looking for a 'grand finale' in his life, such that he ventures into the hardest of territories and conquests that hold a steep price of glory. The author has included some humor and has also developed the characters quite well; the fist wielder is nothing like most other characters in mythic writings. This book is definitely worth reading.

Fans of fantasy genre will surely enjoy reading this adventurous tale about an eccentric protagonist with unique side characters. The humor adds to the charm of the story, and it makes the characters more endearing. Moreover, the Fellowship of the Pudding reminds me of The Lord of the Rings. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The characters definitely sound interesting and I would like to read this book to find out more about the roles they plan and how Thoral Mighty makes it. I am adding the book to my want-to-read shelf. Thanks for the fascinating review.

This sounds interesting. Fish in the pouch was absolutly hilarious.
But that's the irony, broken people are not fragile.
