The characterization of Leaf sounds intriguingly interesting as it portrays the gritty character of Leaf, who fights odds to avoid his removal from a magic school.

Great review! I love your comparison of "Harry Potter meets Game of Thrones." The story has a captivating ring to it. Congrats to the author.

This sounds like a fascinating fantasy novel. Since I'm a fan of Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, I want to read this novel even more. I'm curious as to why Leaf was the scapegoat and what happens next. I agree with the reviewer regarding the page length of the novel, and it sounds a little less than what I would expect from this plot unless someone things were speeded up. Thank you for a captivating review!

Your review was smooth and flowing, i.e, comprehendible and I agree with you about the age. Such gory scenes and treacherous act being performed by children of such age range is also a bit disturbing. But overall, the book sounds epic with an interesting storyline.
Many books can inform you but there's only one that can transform you(The Holy Bible). Pls don't forget to drop a comment for this review. Thanks. :D :tiphat:

The book sounds cool, looking at the cover page and the beautiful art on it makes it captivating. Going by the book, Leaf being the Maga student without magic can be frustrating but the boldness stands against all. Congratulations on BOTD.

Thank you for a great review! I understand what you are saying about the young ages of the characters. I was reminded of Harry Potter and friends from your description of their involvement in acts of violence we tend to attribute only to adults. This does sound like an interesting book, though, and I look forward to reading it.

This fantasy book really sounds like Harry Potter and Game of Thrones mixed together. It seems to contain a lot of adventures and magic. A mage school student who didn't have any magic, a world where people who can use magic have higher status, it sounds interesting. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

This is an excellent book. It took me back to harry potter which was one of my favorites back then. I can't wait to go in-depth with this book. Thank you for this review

It sounded like the reviewer loved the book more than the 3 stars they gave it. They wanted to give it 3.5, so I guess it's an accurate assessment but I personally, would've just rounded up at that point. It sounded like an excellent book, though. It's always interesting to have a protagonist who isn't quite up to par with what his/her role requires. It certainly makes you wonder how they will overcome the odds and you end up rooting for them with true feelings behind your hopes.

The first paragraph so much intrigued me. The i have seen Harry Potter and Game of thrones and I really loved them. A mix of this two would be a blast. Great review. I have to check this out. This is a job well done.

Thanks for your great review. While I don't usually like fantasy books, I did enjoy reading the sample. But I understand what you mean about the age of the characters. I think I would have problems reading about the violence and sexual themes with children the age of my son. I think I will pass on this one, but I'm glad for the most part you really enjoyed it.

I loved Harry potter but this book does not look like something I would love to read. It contains scenes with strong language, violence and nudity while having a cast of 10-15 year old. Despite being an adventure book filled with mystery, this particular information was very upsetting.

I had the opportunity to read a sample of this book and I can say that it's really good. Knowing who "Leaf" actually is and his background could be a major storyline in the book, once he gets older. If you are a fan of magical creatures and supernatural powers, then this is the book for you. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.
