A very candid review, though I would have to read the book to find out if it is incomplete. And while the issue of delving too deeply into any sci-fi field and presenting too much jargon is valid, it all depends on the target audience that the author was seeking. Personally, I feel that the presentation of such jargon gives an avid reader another avenue to research and learn in order to have a sci-fi understanding on which to build their own views. Also, the author might have left the story hanging in order to build anticipation for a sequel.
If the heart is clear, it doesn't matter if there's a storm brewing in the sky.

I enjoyed reading this novel. It’s a scientific story that’s made to create scientific facts around time. It’s brain-evoking. Congratulations to BOTD!

A brilliant book about quantum physics that leaves readers with more questions than answers. Congrats on BOTD.

This novel centers around the protagonist, Ron, an orphan who had two mentors in his life. The first taught him chess, the second Regina, a Physics professor, encouraged him to go to college. It is a sci-fi novel. Can't wait to read it. Congrats on botd.

I love sci-fi books that explore unusually concepts by applying physics. Ron sounds like a radical student. I hope her dabble into illegalities do no get her in trouble or hurt. Actually, I'll like to see how that turns out.

It would be dangerous to see into the future, even a bit. I believe we'd be too tempted to change things, as in this book, and to make things work how we'd like them to. The author seems to have captured this very well. Thank you for your great review!

This sci-fi novel sounds like a difficult read but the comparison of the plot with the game of chess is a great addition.

A fascinating subject to think about woven into a novel. I guess the only hindrance is, it's way too complicated for any average person to really understand. A nice review though.

A very comprehensive review, thanks. Its a pity that the use of scientific Jargon is likely to present the problems you have highlighted to a none science minded readers. Nevertheless it's sometimes good to task ones brain to understand something outside the realm to enhance knowledge.

It could appear exciting to learn about upcoming occurrences, but when a book is difficult and challenging to get to its fundamental idea, I believe the reader loses interest.

Thanks Kathryn for such a thorough review, it really helped me decide to read the book - as a Sci Fi novels fan & a geek i think I'll enjoy it - but mostly it helped lower my expectations for the mystery solving part of the book which i usually have high expectations for & therefore end up being disappointed most of the time, but this time I'm prepared not to let my expectations sail to the roof.
So I'll just kick back & enjoy the thrilling adventure the book has to offer.
