The title of this book caught my interest, and the add-in romance captivated me. Love can really make you do certain things, Citizen A working for the government just to get Elf was a kool move. I hope he succeeds. Great review.

Since I am particularly fond of romance novels, that aspect of this book is appealing to me. However the author's heavy emphasis on politics has affected the romantic aspect of the story to some extent.

A sci-fi and fantasy with a strong element of romance can make a good read. That the book is in form of a parable ensued that there are valuable lessons to be learnt. Thanks for the comprehensive review.

21st centrury love story was told by the grand son of the protoganist in the year 2100. Sounds a bit different kind of a story telling approch by the author. I enjoyed your well written review! :tiphat:

Where the start of your review makes me want to read the book, I am not so sure anymore when you mentioned politics and almost-preachy comments.

Seems a captivating and we'll done sci-fi. I espicially like that it just calls them Citizen A and the like, likely to more dehumanize them.

Thank you for the review!

This sounds like a great sci-fi dystopian novel for all the lovers of the genre. Brilliant touch for this to be a book of the day and today's date has importance in this book. I dislike preachy books too so I understand where are you coming from. Great job with the review.

Yet another tale from the future. I wonder which of these authors have succeeded in telling a story that is almost similar to what the future holds. The plot of the book seemed really nice until I stumbled across 'politics'. Now I'm not so sure I'd like to read it anymore. However, thanks for the review.

Romance, political commentary with a dash of science fiction; I'm curious as to how the whole themes fit together.

I'm a fan of dystopian sci-fi, so this book seems right up my alley. I'm curious to read about both the tumultuous love story between Citizen A and Elf and the political and moral themes the novelist approaches. Thanks for an interesting review!
