I like that A. K. Frailey has paid a lot of attention to history, character development as well as plot. I also like the fact that at the beginning of each chapter there is a period or location of the events that will be discussed in the chapter.

Aram's life sounds dramatic as they run from danger but still face other dangers where they run to. But at least the is a supernatural that is looking after them the book sounds interesting I wouldn't mind reading it.

Today's book is not the sort I would typically go looking for and so I'm pretty glad I came across this book here. Based on the review, I'm most curious about the world-building and presentation of characters. Would love to check this out. Congratulations on BOTD!

I have also always wondered how it must’ve been, settling in the old days and living off the land. You’re review has given a good picture of what to expect with this book. The plot sounds intriguing and it’s well written, this sounds like a must read.

The review is nice but the plot feels a little shallow the Aram people move to a new land and that's it. What made the land dangerous? For a Sci-fi fantasy is shallow. But congrats on the book of the day

I agree that we take a lot for granted but I could never live in those times. Those are some unique title chapters. Great review.

The review makes this book sound like a very entertaining and interesting story. The first few chapters I sampled were very appealing, having a good mix of dialogue and description, even though I found a couple of spelling errors. I’m looking forward to finishing this and getting to know the characters better.

It’s never easy to settle in a new place. Somehow this story portrays the struggle individuals encounter when they move to a new place. It seems like an interesting book.

Readers of SciFi are in for a treat with today's BOTD, which is Book 1 in the OldEarth series. It's a story of survival and safety, and with danger lurking around every corner, leading the fight of good vs. evil has never been so intense. Aram sounds like a character you will not soon forget! Thanks so much for the awesome review and great work!
P.S. I love the covers of each book in this series! They look amazing!! :-)

It would be interesting to read a novel that includes different periods and locations. I'm guessing it starts with Aram, but I wonder if the rest of the period follows his descendants. I'd like to see what kind of dangers the characters face and how they deal with it.

"OldEarth Aram Encounter" by A. K. Frailey. A very interesting story book, life can be so challenging. Aram has a lot to do as a leader, taking most of the responsibilities. Leaving for a new place, meeting different people and enemies, good and bad but hoping in God for help. Congrats on your #BOTD.

I enjoyed reading your review, it gave me a really good idea of what the book is about and added some intrigue. Thank you.
It sounds as if the clan faces a battle for survival in brutal times. When you said:
I've often wondered how a group of people begin to dwell in a place and call it their own. This book gave me a good picture of the answer. Living in the early ages couldn't have been easy with all the negative factors — wild animals, famine, diseases, bandits, and enemies. In today's modern world, we take a lot for granted.
I immediately had an image of an early settlement in my mind. I also thought of places in the world where people still face these challenges.
Congratulations on BOTD and your great review.
