I wonder if Theron's "sack" should be "sac." That's a novel explanation for a shape-shifter, but is it medically possible? I am no sci-fi/fantasy fan, though, so Theron and I may never meet.

Thanks for your very informative review of this book! And got me excited to read it. I'm so excited that, in only a couple of weeks of membership, I've discovered some great new fantasy titles—especially since they are Kindle Unlimited titles, free with subscription, which I've never gotten much use out of because, until now, I never had a trustworthy source of unbiased reviews. (I feel I can't trust Kindle reviews, after all, because people get paid to skew their ratings.)

Any book about Greek mythology piques my interest. Reading about the gods of Olympus is always a thrilling trip. It's not easy to effortlessly merge myth with realism, but this book makes it look simple. Fantastic review!

Greek mythology is such a well-known material and authors still come up with new and interesting concepts how they incorporated it into their stories. I never heard of such an interesting way of werewolf transformation as in Theron's case. Great job with the review.

Usually, Sci-Fi/Fantasy is certainly not my preferred genre, but in this circumstances I simply can't help myself. Mostly because Atlantis has always been one if my passions, but also I look at the cover and see medieval axe and the futuristic tower. Very contradicting and intriguing, luckily description in review is also great!

So there are characters from Greek mythology, average people and a werewolf included in this story? 🤔 Sounds like a unique and unexpected mixture. I like that it has well-developed characters, as those are crucial to an enjoyable reading experience. The role of a werewolf in this story piques my interest, since I can’t picture how that fits in… 😃

Thank you for an intriguing review!

Nice review. I love any book that talk about Greek methodology. I would love to see the relationship between the mortal and the immortal in the book.

Nothing like mixing immortal god hubris with mortal teenage angst! This looks like a fabulous book for those who enjoy an atypical coming-of-age story. I read a few pages, and I must say that the dialogue is terrific! Congrats to the author on BOTD.

This sounds like a book I would read. It kind of reminds me of the Percy Jackson series though but that just makes it more appealing to me.
