Its good to know that there's a glossary of words for the ease of understanding Hawaiian language. Writing a fantasy novel isn't easy and more difficult is reviewing it. You did an excellent job and gave an insight about this book! A good review.

This science-fiction/fantasy book sounds quite fascinating with thought-provoking concepts. Ironically, this story brings to my mind writings that were written before the Book of Genesis. Great review!

This is a great sci fi novel that incorporates Hawaiian myths into the storyline. I especially like and appreciate how the author provides guidance in order to understand the differences in language used in the book. Also, the cover of the book is very well illustrated and it captures ones attention easily. Congrats on the BOTD!

I hadn't heard of Hawaiian cosmology till now. And now that I have, it sounds interesting and the way the author uses fantasy to bring the cosmology to light is just amazing. Congrats on the book of the day

:techie-studyinggray: The book involves two major characters, Boy and sistah, and their adventures. There is a lot that is going around them. I am very eager to read this book so as to know if they survived the threats around them. Thanks for the wonderful review!.

This is a very nice review thank you. Sci-fi however is not my cup of tea. Even if there are lots of tools to help understand the book.

When I saw that the book was a fantasy from the Hawaiian cosmology, I was very curious about it, but after reading the description, I feel that it's not for me. Besides, it's the 2nd book in the series, so I'd have to read the prequel first. I have decided to skip it, but hopefully, people who like the genre will enjoy it.

This is the first time I've ever come across a book that deals with Hawaiian mythology. As an avid reader reader of fantasy, today's book seems to be something I would enjoy. But considering how this is the second book in the series, I think it would be best if I Iooked into the first book before I gave this one a go.

It sounds like this book may be a great option for lovers of the sci-fi/fantasy genre and I can't wait to how the quest to unite all of the islands in the Ocean World unravels.

Though I'm not interested in Sci-fi/fantasy novels, I like the inclusion of a guide that helps in pronouncing the Hawaiian language.

The book sounds really exciting and full of adventures. It will be interesting to read more about Boy and Sistah's quest. Besides being fond of linguistics it will aslo be interesting for me to learn those Hawaiian words and their usage. Congratulations on becdoming BOTD!

This book is unusual because it uses the background of traditional Hawaiian beliefs about creation, and I have not read anything about that. Good that the author helps the reader with pronouncing Hawaiian words. It can be a bit tedious looking up words in the glossary, but I suspect anyone, including college students, would have to do that.
