There is already a science fiction book called Dune by Frank Herbert, which I love. I don't think I will be reading this book as it could get a bit confusing but thank you very much for the great review!

This book is really thrilling. A science fiction about intriguing characters, enchanting storyline and well developed plot. I'm definitely adding this to my must read.
Great review.

In truth, a psychotic villain as a protagonist is not common. This book seems to conflate a scientifically possible future dystopia with dark belief systems. I believe this science fiction story delves into psychological issues that touch the boundaries of sanity.

I love it when science and beliefs mix. It always creates an awe moment and this book does exactly that. I also love the fact that the author put in a lot of work in research to produce this masterpiece. Kudos! Great book.

It is not difficult to imagine a world like the one being described in the early part of the novel. When a neurologist, zoologist, psychiatrist, and a geneticist have that much influence over GC (global control), what could go wrong? I detest some of the elements that are covered in this story. Is Dune really a ‘devil’ or just a human who wants to free the world of that inhuman hell? Thanks for an excellent review on this book.

I like that the book has certain similarities to books like 1984, The Hunger Games, and Gattaca. It is interesting that the book deals with future morality changes. I like that the more important characters are very convincingly described.

I love how you say the book, despite being futuristic, it presents a scientifically well researched possinle future. I think that is one thing most sci-fi get wrong, overimagining the future. I enjoyed reading your review. Well done.

Dune must feel left out being the only "nat" there is. I would, however, skip this one as Sci-fi is not my cup of tea. Will he go to be nurtured or extinguished?

My favorite kind of Sci-Fi/Fantasy, because I find it fascinating to glimpse the variation of the future created by the imagination of talented authors. While this series paints it in somewhat darker shades, I don't believe it farfetched even the more disturbing pieces. I mean, think about the morals of our ancestors several generations back, compare them to ours and I guarantee no changes will be surprising after that))

This one sounds like a doozy! I typically get turned off with today's sci-fi as too much of it tends to fall into the category of space opera. But I may have to dip my toe into this one. Congrats to the author for turning out something more unique than generic, everyday sci-fi.

This book looks worthy of reading given that it is a sci-fi book along the lines of my favourite, The Hunger Games. The world being described at the beginning is not a far fetched ideology and the fact that the people actually in control of the world are somewhat qualified. It brings into contrast the true meaning of Sci-fi fantasy.
