You are definitely not alone, I love reading about faeries too, guess we all still love to dream that they could just maybe, possible, almost be there.........

I like Fey books but as you go from children to young adult to adult fiction they become more "evil" or erotic.

The Fever series by Karen Moning is one of my favorite series of all time. The world has so much depth and the characters are strong and lovely. The writing is amazing. I recommend them.

R.A. Salvator...one word: Awesome! I absolutely love his Dark Elf books. He takes the drow elves to new levels of spite, mayhem, and manipulation. With magic, lust, and torture (just to list a few drow qualities), these books will keep you up long past your bedtime!

I just reviewed a book that I highly recommend for anyone who loves fairies, elves, and the like! It's Soul Bound by Kay Bilsby!

The Elven Chronicles series (so far about 8 books and a few loose novels) from M.A Abrahams.
And the Fading Land Series from C.L.Wilson.
Those are books that I stayed glued to it from page one until the end. I just couldn't put the books down. My husband said that he would be doing an intervention for my book addiction if I wouldn't take a break form my reading. I am about to know one person who read one of these two series who didn't totally fall in love with them.

This is one of my absolute favorite genres! I can't help but grab as many books about the Fey as I can find. I have read all of the Iron fey series and enjoyed getting to know all of the characters. Thanks for the list of series, I will have to look them up!

I love books about fae. I would recommend both Melissa Marr and Holly Black as excellent authors that are very good at writing with this type of topic. I especially like that their writing tends to stay on the darker side.

The wicked lovely series is quite good! Its in the young adult section, there are five books (with 2.5 parts 1 & 2 and 2.6 coming in elsewhere) but each book is based around a different character still continuing on from the timeline of the first book.
