This is an interesting and thrilling dystopian science fiction fantasy novel highlighting artificial intelligence, cooperate oversight, free will, and control. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD.

Excellent review! I've read Stanfill's work before, and I think this is a sequel to Terms of Service. If this book is half as good as the first one, it's worth a read! Congrats on book of the day!

So, based on this review, two things have carried on from the first book: the dark humour and the 'uncanny’ dialogue. I had hoped the latter would have been corrected, but neither aspect detracted from my reading. Hence I would enjoy this one too.

I read this book as I was wondering what happened after Kim's departure from the AI company at the end of the prequel - Terms of Service. I agree with the reviewer that Kim is a great character and about everything positive about this book. But I disagree with the "uncanny valley" comment and with the deduction of a star from the rating - in my view this is clearly a 5-star book all in all. Highly recommend it!

Craig W Stanfill is into well written science fiction stories. Considering that Terms of Service is also authored by him, I'm sure The prophecy of the heron will be a good read too. Can't wait to share my review on this book.

The review effectively conveys the dystopian setting and the struggles of the protagonist, Kim, as she navigates a world dominated by artificial intelligence and oppressive corporations. The comparison to other works of fiction, such as "Fahrenheit 451," "The Hunger Games," and "The Matrix," provides helpful context for potential readers. Great review.

Your review is very well done! I recently read both Terms of Service and The Prophecy of the Heron and loved them. Though the dystopian world focused on AI and the suppression levied on everyone, I loved the human aspect of Kim and other rebels who determined how not to follow the rules and live an underground life as freedom fighters.

Also, having read both books, I highly recommend reading Terms of Service first and then the sequel to get the most enjoyment from them.

I love this type of literature researching numerous scenarios of possible or not so believable futures. To be honest I am not sure that the world ruled by AI will be a very happy place, but the plot seems gripping enough in the description and I would like to discover more details and how accurate might be author's predictions. Congratulations on BOTD

Dystopian novels really intrigue me as I believe that a big part of them will be reality in the future. This book definitely sounds like an interesting read.

After Terms of Service, this was another book I was planning to read next. I sampled the book and liked the thrill and mystery of why Kim was exiled to District 33. The author has a unique style of creating these imaginative scenes, which are very much believable. That, I found, was the attractive feature of this book. Your review was quite descriptive and enjoyable.

This dystopia fiction novel has a great plotline with a protagonist who is a rebel in society due to breaking a societal rule. I wonder how she cope living in the fringes of this world and if she is able to topple the corporations that have taken free will from the people. Congrats on the BOTD!

The novel is set in a depressingly dystopian world that is run by AI. They control every aspect of life, from how you conduct yourself to going as far as to dictate what you eat. Congratulations BOTD!

AI Dystopia books are not one of my favorite genres, but this is a good one for anyone who enjoys this genre. Thank you for your informative review.
