This book has a sci fi storyline that follows Yanara, the world maker. She is involved in a polygamous relationship that is somewhat not balanced. I wonder how this story unfolds as it holds many inspiring plotpoints including supernatural powers. Congrats on the BOTD!

A book certainly unique for the quasi-polyandry therein. I see it did not amuse you🙂Anyway, I'm struck by the names of Yanara’s children; they're so bellicose that its no wonder their lot is war!

I also don't agree with polygamy especially of this type where a woman has both husband and wife. I can see that the author is trying to bring in all this to make the storyline more out of this world and she may have succeeded. The rest of the story is interesting though, and I would love to read on to find out what happens in the end.

I will be passing in this book as I am not a fan of the book's plot. I do love books that are written from a first person's point of view and narrative style. Great job on the review.

Snowfox, Hawklord, Asimia, and Wolfpack are examples of the positive side of war's aftermath. Although the pain of war will always be in the hearts of the survivors, life must continue and destruction must be repaired. I also like Yanara's description, and I think the book is worth reading.

This is an amazing science fiction fantasy novel highlighting war and its aftermath, emotional scars, family, love, compassion, starting anew, a ruthless antagonist, and peace. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review.

Well some of us l am sure we have no idea how polygamy is or how disturbing it is. I for one l always define polygamy as all kinds of relationship whether married or dating which in the dating aspect someone sharing or snatching one's boy is a disturbia..lool. why l find this story soo funny and interesting. I love to read more.

A good science fiction fantasy novel "Worldmaker of Yand - Polaris" by Andri E. Elia, which portrays the travails of the worldmaker, Yanara, who is a highly powerful being. An good entertaining novel to read for me.

I am sure the story of Yanara and her family's attempt at colonizing their new moon while fleeing the K'tul is thrilling.

Thank you for the great review.

What I did not like about this book was the fact that Yanara had two spouses, a male and a female
- I do find polygamy disturbing, but I would like to be a little more open-minded, so I think I will give this book a try. Thank you for a wonderful re-review and warning about it beforehand.

Very well-written review, so congratulations. From your review, I got enough of the storyline to make a decision on whether to read this book or not. I usually don't like sci-fi but this one has piqued my interest. Having a husband and a wife at the same time is enough for me to find out how the main character dealt with the situation.

Yanara's world is definitely intriguing. I love sci-fi fantasies, so I'll check this book out.

Great review! Though I am no fan of sci-fi, according to this review the novel seems to be a very exciting one, with a strong main character, Yanara, who is polygamous and has supernatural powers. The story is narrated through her eyes so it might be more interesting than a third-person narrative.

Thank you for your review. What I really enjoy about science fiction and fantasy is the way the stories tell us so much about ourselves. The people may be non-humans but they face issues and problems in their lives just like we do. Even our reactions (regardless of whether they are positive or negative) to these "aliens" and their cultures tell us something about ourselves. Complex cultures are interesting and alien cultures even more so.

Your review convinced me to put this on my reading list but I shall begin with Book 1 in the series.
