This science fiction book seems like something I'd enjoy reading. I find the cover of this book very inviting, and a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter sounds intriguing. The drawback you mentioned (that the book leaves you wanting more) also sounds more like an advantage since this is a part of the series :) :)

Thanks for your lovely review, I think I'll be checking this one out!

"Chad Wannamaker skillfully weaves together multiple storylines, creating a complex and interconnected web of intrigue. The pacing is superb, with each chapter ending on a cliffhanger, leaving readers eager to turn the page and uncover the next twist. Wannamaker excels at building suspense and keeping readers guessing until the very end.

The characters in Obsidian Tomorrow are well-rounded and relatable, each with their own unique backgrounds and motivations. Readers will find themselves emotionally invested in their struggles and triumphs. Wannamaker masterfully explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the resilience of the human spirit, adding depth and resonance to the narrative"
This is the exact type of writing that captures a reader when reading a sci-fi/mystery or thriller- 3 dimensional characters, complex but immersive storyline. This review makes me excited to read this book! Absolutely well-written.
