Re: Review of The Hermit Gryphon

Post by Temidayo Adepoju »

I'm charmed by the enigmatic title " The Hermit Gryphon" the juxtaposition of a mythical creature known for guarding treasure with the reclusive nature of a hermit sparks my curiosity. I imagine a story of self-discovery, hidden strengths and the transformative power of solitude. Paula Grover's unique blend of fantasy and introspection has me eager to unravel the mysteries of this captivating tale. I'd be elated to dive into the world of " The Hermit Gryphon" and uncover its secrets.

It's an engrossing blend of fantasy and magic, with a distinct plot. I'd like to know what motivates Talona to chose a life of solitude. How did she stand up to her oppressors? And, to find answers, I will undoubtedly read this great masterpiece. It beautifully expresses loneliness, self-discovery, nature magic, and a variety of other topics. Congratulations on being BOTD.

The themes of acceptance, trust, and forgiveness resonate deeply, and I appreciate knowing it's suitable for all ages. I can't wait to dive into this magical story!

After reading just the sample, I have found that everything said in the review is probably true, since I didn't read the whole book, but the book itself has an amazing way of describing the characters, their feelings and the setting as well. Great review!

Its a great review because putting a fantasy story plot without damaging it's essence of magic is truly commendable. Not my cup of tea but seems like a good read for young curious minds!

I didn’t try to read a fantasy book. But after reading your review I really want to read the full book. The Hermit Gryphon will be my best choice for starting reading a new genre.

I read a few pages of a book on Amazon and found the writing to be very imaginative. The author's style gave me a sense of lightness as I read. I also read your review, which I found to be well-written and interesting. You highlighted the book's themes of acceptance, trust, and forgiveness. These themes convey a positive message to younger readers. I don't usually read fantasy, but after reading a few sample pages, I became intrigued. I think I will continue reading a little further.

Readers travel with Talona on a journey to redeem herself from an angry outcast to a powerful leader. With no political power and support from the people, how will she redeem herself? Fiction novel fans will enjoy this book.
