The author writes in a way that flows, not too technical. I just felt it could’ve shown more about how the whole world deals with this “Anticipation Day” — it focused a lot on the main characters. Also, the pacing slows down a bit in some parts.
But the ending… wow! I didn’t see that coming, and it really made me think afterwards. I totally recommend it for anyone who enjoys sci-fi that’s more about human dilemmas than action.
