From the review, the novel seems to have an interesting storyline filled with adventure, mystery, and danger. A professor travels to Russia to collect his inheritance. Then he embarks on an expedition with the hope of finding his uncle and the forbidden land, Zona. Thank you for a nice review. Congrats on BOTD.

Your review suggests that this sort of adventure story is not all that common these days. The sample chapters on Amazon were well-written and make compelling reading. You are right in that the sense of mystery intrigues the reader and cannot wait to find out more.

Wow, I particularly like reading about missions like that since there are so many unknown secrets and unanticipated perils. It appears to contain a lot of suspense, which is something I constantly seek out. I was upset about what had happened to the esteemed scientist.

One thing I noticed in this book was the misleading beginning. When I started it, I didn't expect that the book will start talking about an adventure in Zona. I was thinking it would be a crime thriller because of the mysteries surrounding Randall's missing. Good review.

Your review was so comprehensive and detailed. From the samples I've read it seems like this could be a really exciting read for me. I love all things adventure and expedition, therefore this is right up my alley. I also find the setting of Russia intriguing, I would love the see more how the author portrays it. The sexual elements and the presence of alcoholism don't deter my interest. I only hope it is done right and as a means of characterization, not just for the sake of it. I'm definitely giving this a try. I can't wait to get to know Grant, Irina and the rest of the gang better. Grant especially seems like an interesting guy. Thanks once again for an amazing review.

Thanks for the wonderful review. Adventure books are something I enjoy reading but since the book contains violence, I think I will give it a pass. Congrats on the BOTD.

This sounds like a great adventure story. The initial scene setting is great and the characters had me interested from the start.

This book sounds like an adventure novel filled with a lot of mysteries and complications. It also contains sexual content and alcohol. Though, that does not bother me. I wish to congratulate the author on being the #BOTD!

Zona: The Forbidden Land is such an interacting book. It is captivating and full of that adventure tingle. I'm also not a fan of debauchery but the rest of the book is quite appealing.

I enjoyed reading this review. It was a nicely written one. I myself would love to know all about Zona and why Volkov was the only survivor from the last expedition.

This is a great book indeed. The author's narrative prowess is to be praised. I enjoyed all the descriptive fight scenes. They are like movie scenes and the idea for a supposedly non-existent place was properly documented.

I actually waited to see if his uncle would survive but your review didn't give that spoiler. I already have lots of questions about Zona. I'd have to read this book to find my answers. Thanks for your review.
