I like the sound of the tactic you mention in your review - where the author recaps on big moments after planning them out in a previous scene, instead of basically telling the same thing twice over. I swear Iberia used to be the old name for Spain, but I can’t remember exactly...

I am currently reading Masters and Bastards and completely agree with your review. The story and plots are great only the grammatical errors are a bit distracting. Congratulations for a brilliant review!

:) Wow, your review have got me interested in this book... I had read few pages and it looks a well constructed book in the beginning itself. And yes many sci- fic s are there but only few can tie you till the end... This looks like an interesting story and a neat plot characterization so i will go for it.

I've actually been contemplating on this book. I'll surely take a glance based on this well carved out review. Though sci-fi isn't my favourite read.

I like sci-fi books and this one seems to be pretty exciting. The author managed to create A completely different world filled with magic, telepathy, prejudices and lots of intrigue. It will be interesting to follow Andreas on his journey. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Sci-fi and fantasy generally aren't my genres of choice, so I don't think I'll be reading this one. Too bad about the errors -- I found quite a few in the sample myself. So glad you enjoyed it though! Thanks for an exciting review.

Although, judging from a book cover, I'd never pick this book, and the aliens and distant planets isn't my favorite topic among sci-fi and fantasy books, the review changed my mind. A plot seems interesting and tense enough for a good weekend read.

Masters and Bastards is a sci-fi story set on another planet after the Earth has been destroyed. The hero is a bastard and of a race that is treated as inferior to the master race. This is an exciting story with lots of action and excitement. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

Though I like this genre, I wont be reading this due to the profane and erotic content.
Thanks for the review.

The book was free on Amazon not so long ago and I took it, but to tell the truth I had no idea whatsoever that it is so fine. Thankfully now, after reading your review, I more prepared and ready to brave it)) Thanks for outlining it in great detail.
