Thank you for your informative review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. This isn't a genre I usually read or enjoy, but the style of writing did seem very good. I thought perhaps younger teens could read it, but I'm not sure with all of the profanity. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, or old! I hope that many others will enjoy it.

This, definitely, sounds like something that I would want to read. The cursing might be a turn off for me if it is too much. I struggle with a lot of cursing. I enjoy mythology of all sorts. So, again, I look forward to reading this book via your review and congratulations on the BOTD. :techie-reference: :tiphat:

I just love Ireland and Irish folklore and stories. It's always so interesting and exciting at the same time, since Irish people are rather passionate. I enjoyed Roan so I definitely can't wait to read this sequel. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD and thanks for the free book.

SKELLIG: The Tales Of Conor Archer, vol. 2" by E. R. Barr is a connected series, which is better to read first book for better understanding. It looks like group of people, having separate line to fight for their rights. There is concept of war, and other important creatures.
With Warmest Regards,

I have not read Roan. However, from Skellig's review, I can say that Connor's adventures continued. Making this a must-read, especially for those who have read Roan.

Skellig has a great plot. I like that readers get to learn about Celtic and Irish mythology. This book series seems worth reading. I'll read the first book then proceed to this one. Congratulations on making botd!

The story sounds incredibly captivating and fascinating, and I am happy that the author went up a notch higher based on the reviews of the previous installment, Roan. I wonder how the monsters will be defeated and the cost of such a war. The book is on my to-read shelf.
Many thanks for the review, @Eric Morris.

A tale that borrows from science fiction, fantasy and Celtic heritage with an intriguing story plot. What is more pleasing is that it can be read as a stand alone.

The author does a great job of creating a rich world filled with magic, mysterious beings, and ancient legends, making it highly appealing to fans of the fantasy and adventure genre.

One of the book's strengths is the character development of Conor Archer and his journey of self-discovery. Additionally, the fusion of Irish culture with supernatural elements adds depth to the story. However, the pacing might feel slow for some readers, especially those used to action-packed narratives.

Overall, this book is a great choice for those who enjoy fantasy stories with historical and mythological backgrounds.

Congratulations on BOTD.
"Skellig: The Tales of Conor Archer, Vol. 2" by E.R. Barr builds upon the captivating foundation of "Roan," seamlessly continuing Conor Archer's journey as he confronts ancient evils threatening both worlds.
