I got 'black mirror' vibes after reading the review as it mentions how everything is confusing jn beginning and makes sense by the end. Also time travels fascinate me so there is a high chance of me checking this book. I enjoyed your review.

This book does sound interesting. I like the added fantasy element with the different world and time travel. The characters sound well written with depth.

A lovely contemporary fiction "Damon Ich" by Aaron d Key, which is focused more on the characters rather than the science fiction elements. I feel I should pick this one.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Sounds like the author exhibited mastery in creating twists and turns both to excite and entertain.

I enjoy books with emphasis on characters rather than those that focus on plot so I think I'll enjoy this. This review really intrigued me, as I enjoy contemporary fiction so I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for the review.

Had a hard time figuring what Ich from the title of the book meant until I went through your review. I have never encountered a person named as such. Anyway, this book seems to be interesting. I also like that this author do focuses more on the development of his characters. Thanks for your good review.

From the title, I thought it was a German-language book at first. Sounds interesting. Thanks for the review.

Considering this is the author's second book, I am amazed. The way he writes is incredibly poetic, and I was in awe constantly. I told myself several times that this book should be an audiobook. Reading it was fantastic; however, I am sure listening to it would take my breath away. Other than that, the events of the book kept surprising me. Every time I thought I figured something out, I was wrong. Whatever you think happens, does not happen. What you think doesn’t happen, does happen. I was constantly questioning the characters and thinking about what they were doing. That goes to say this book is not a casual read. A reader should take their time with this masterpiece. The characters were also pretty interesting. As I mentioned above, there is a huge focus on character development.
I love poetic writing, and I love being surprised by books, as long as it makes sense. I get what you mean. Some books are just written in a way that an audiobook would sweep you off your feet. I also appreciate your warning, because I'm not very experienced with time-travel books, so I should probably consider adding this book to my TBR list for later.
Amazing review! Thank you!

Being a fan of poetry, this book would really interest me a big deal. All the metaphoric elements present in it are just appealing to me. Great review and book

I’m relieved that you say I will understand this book without reading the first. Although it is not my type of book, and in spite of the poetic leanings, which is further unappealing to me, I am keen on time travel and comparing its presentation in fictionvs what science actually says. Also, the book IS free for BOTD, so I might as well look it over.

It sounds like the author did a great job with this book! I’m glad that even though it is the second book in a series it can still be read as a standalone. I love novels that I think I have figured out, but then something else happens. Thank you for your fantastic review. I look forward to reading this book soon.

Confusing sample to read, but there's potential for better understanding with progression.
Time travel is interesting, yet a mystery.

I wish to find out the outcome of Damon Ich's journey and the fate of Rael.
