This book is about a world in the past. There are aliens who want to monitor Earth. They don't wish to interfere but they want to study it for many generations. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

Multiple "Earth's" with the same people fascinates me. I definitely want to try this book. Because of the plot and science, it would be a difficult book to wrote and stay on point with it.

David J. Lebenstein's captivating sci-fi novel "Sent to Watch" follows the Interplanetary Intelligence Service as they monitor 52 Earths. With an extraterrestrial threat looming, agents on Earth 48 face significant challenges. The dual naming and detailed storytelling highlight universal themes and the core of humanity.

This science fiction book presents a creative story with a multiplanetary system with many "Earths." It highlights problems in today's world, such as selfish human interests linked to work.

Fascinating review! I completely agree with your assessment of "Sent to Watch". The author's use of dual identities for the agents is indeed fascinating, and the themes of unity and selfishness are so relevant to our world today.

"Sent to Watch" by David J. Lebenstein is a science fiction book whose plot revolves around the Interplanetary Intelligence Service. They observe the development of the new 52 Earths. I like how believably human selfishness is described.

Thank you for your detailed review of the sci-fi novel Sent to Watch by David J. Lebenstein.
Sounds intriguing - interweaving an Interplanetary Intelligence Service with developments of different "Earths and historical fiction -- the British Empire. Compelling character development.
Planning to read it.

Sent to Watch is an intriguing piece of science fiction. In a universe where there are multiple planets called Earth at different stages of development, agents are sent to what we recognise as Earth in the 1800s to watch from different nations and understand human and technological developments. An interesting commentary on the time.
