I also find such details on humanity disturbing. Is this why Aurumia was described as a land with no civilization? Stepping on your fellow humans, eating puppies? I especially find this disgusting. Great review.

After reading the first few pages, I am hooked and look forward to reading the mysteries and adventures that unfold. It should be interesting to see how much the story mirrors today's society and the throwback on capitalism.

I have sampled this book, and I agree with the reviewer about proofing issues in this copy. I am grateful to the reviewer for mentioning the Aurumian national dish - I would not be able to read this book due to animal cruelty.

Looks like the book contains too many information and this makes it exceptional. Some readers doesn't like books that seem bland or lack information so as not keep the reader's mind in the dark. Nice review and congratulations to the author on BOTD.

The book is full of mysteries and myths the tune is complex, but I love reading books that talk about discrimination against other people. It is a problem that needs to be addressed in the whole world. Very good review.

Thanks for sharing your review of "Aurumia" by Robert Millon. The satirical take on society and politics through the fictional lands sounds intriguing. The clever puns and social commentary are notable. It's unfortunate about the editing issues, but the unique concept still makes it worth a read. 📚🗺️

"Aurumia" by Robert Millon begins with an expedition of three men. Steve is on the trail of a lost civilization. The lost world is very similar to our world, and through the story of two fictional countries, the author very skillfully criticizes modern society.

Political satire is very hard to write effectively, but I think this author did great with the book so far. The puns and humor present in the story make me greatly interested in it. Thanks for the review!

The description started almost like it was written about a different book and everyone familiar with "Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog)" by English writer Jerome K. Jerome will understand what I mean. Yet later it took a much more serious tone and topics like racism and an evolutionary twist in the technological world. Interesting and definitely worth a try, congrats on BOTD!

I am a big fan of adventure stories. I like it when there are mysteries and conflicts along the way, and I hope this book has that. Also, I can't wait to delve into its unique story about a journey to another civilization.

It's interesting how you've compared the national dish of Aurumia to foie gras. That's not a connection I would have made by myself, but I definitely see it now. I also agree about the grammar and punctuation errors. I was only two page into the book and there were already some missing spaces between a few words that threw me off.

This sounds like a not-too-thinly-masked satire of our current times. Based on your description of the hot dog meal and other scenes, I think I'll skip this read. Too graphic. Thank you for your excellent review, Sou Hi, and congrats on BOTD!
