it took me time to decide to go through this book I've after downloading it. simply because I hate vampires. they add no value to my interest or learning. it was otherwise, well designed

if I were to act a vampire movie, then I would be a killer of vampires. I hate seeing them

This sounds so interesting! I enjoyed reading the first few pages but I feel its a bit too spiritistic for my liking. You've also mentioned that it is graphic... Still weighing the pros and cons of reading this, with the help of your well written review.

I just downloaded this book, and was a bit skeptical after seeing that it was rated less that 4 stars. However, your review has sold me, and I can't wait to start reading this book. The paranormal has always intrigued me, so I look forward to this being a worthwhile read. Thanks for sharing x :)

Not only readers of preternatural beings will find delight in 'Sylvio: Past and Present', but all readers of all genres. It will catch them to the end. On reading the story, we'll find out that we decide what we are, not destiny. A great job the author did to develop the story. The review is quite honest. Congrats.

Vampires that walk in broad daylight if they are good, that's an interesting twist. Reading the sequel without reading the first book can be confusing, it's a good thing that the author inserted some backstory in this book so you don't have to guess what had happened before. Thanks for the great review, you made me want to read it too.

Sounds like an interesting uptake on the concept of vampires aaand good and evil. It's reassurig that even though it's a sequel I could read it just like this and not miss anything vital. Would've stopped me if it wasn't for your review, so thanks for that! Nice job there. Glad you enjoyed the book but because of the violence it probably won't be the very next on my list... :angelic-innocent:

I've always found books about vamps interesting, although I'm still uncertain about why I do. I've got a feeling that this one will not be an exception. I wonder what came of Sylvio. Anyways, thanks for the review, Kand.

I usually shy away from vampire stories. But this BOTD came free, and it's a shame to waste it. The sample pages were engrossing, and the review, convincing. What more can one ask?

This vampire is a really interesting one and especially about Rachel and others who allow Sylvio the vampire to feed off of them in exchange for health, a place to live, and an allowance. Rachel learns she's a witch. She learns of her powers and how she has used them in the past. There's plenty of violence in the book from the vampires, they lust for sex especially when feeding. Sexual situations and languages aren't appropriate for some readers but generally this vampire story is really interesting. The review is superb.
