One very standout aspect of Brianna MacMahon's "On the Precipice" is the richly built world. It felt as though the world existed somewhere because of how vividly it was portrayed.

Imperium, an independent colony divided into seven factions led by the Lord Regents, is experiencing a heated election season. Raelynn, a recent graduate, is unexpectedly tutored by Lord Regent Levine Liston, causing more political tension, especially with his rival Cyno Banner. However, the drama is about to unfold.

- It may be out of this world for some others but not for me. I will have to pass on it. However the review was amazing. Thank you.

I have already read this one and this book certainly was right up my alley! While it spoke about altogether different planetary civilization, the political intrigue and conflicts woven into the story intricate the plot, but at the same time parallels with our worlds politics were easily drawn. Thanks a lot for the great book and congratulations on BOTD!

'Raelynn, a recent graduate, or Audilla, was surprised to learn that the Lord Regent of Diplomacy, Levine Liston, had opted to be her tutor. A Lord Regent taking on an Audilla had never occurred in Imperium history, and the higher-ups were opposed to the act.'
Is this a political thriller? I'm interested.

This book caught my attention right away, because of the political affairs discussed throughout, in an atypical environment and in a very different era.

Thank you for your in-depth review on "On the Precipice" by Brianna MacMahon. "On the Precipice (New Caelus Book 1)" featured proper world-building and well-developed characters without devoting too much time to any one aspect. I appreciated the novel's straightforward approach. Each of the seven Lord Regents, along with their Prophates, was given some screentime to highlight their backstories and express their motivations. After reading the sample on Amazon and your review, I decided to put this interesting read on my shelf. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Although books about politics and government are not my kind of book, this one is very interesting. It has much to say about economic growth and societal changes. Your review is detailed and straight to the point, highlighting the book's interesting points. This is a good recommendation.

I would like to understand the reason why Levine Liston had opted to tutor Raelynn also considering that it was something abnormal.

I was almost getting crossed eye with the Lord this and that with its blend of Prophetes. I'm sorry to say this, but the storyline seemed complicated.
"On the Precipice" by Brianna MacMahon underscores the issue of politics, leadership and fostering a habitable society and would be a good read for lovers of politics and world-building.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how the relationship of Raelynn, an Audilla and Cyno Banner, the Lord Regent of War and Defense will pan out in this interesting political novel.

An interesting new world centred around politics and religion. This is a perfect storm for drama and intrigue set in a sci-fi context. The author's style flows effortlessly while providing explanations and new information.
