Thanks, but I'm afraid I'm really not interested in reading about the protagonists' escape plan and execution of such, so I will not be reading this.

Sci-fi doesn't excite me much. But since the author kindly provided a free copy, I will give this a try. I only wish the villain's name was easier to pronounce. It makes me antsy, LOL.

Thanks for the great review! The more of it I read, the more convinced I was that I wanted to read this book! Your description of the Devon coast was enticing! Then I came to the recommendations and saw the part about the profanity and sexual content and was disappointed! It sounds like an adventurous book with a lot of action and suspense, but the profanity and sexual content are a deterrent for me, so I will have to pass, but I enjoyed reading your review.

This book sounds like a very good combination of historical and sci-fi. I would definitely love to check it out!

Anstey sounds like a horrible tyrant but also like a interesting villain. Nice detailed review and I can't wait to read more about this alien villain.

Based on the review, this science-fiction/fantasy book is well-written with a strong female protagonist fighting against an evil alien on earth. It sounds like it is fast paced and keeps the reader engaged until the very end. Great review!

This is an amazing science fiction adventure novel highlighting deceit, power, fear, drugs, slavery, crime, justice, and standing out. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has an awesome well-worded OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @SusanJenniferH1 on the BOTD.

You pointed out the essential about this book in my opinion: the author makes use of various devices like alternating points of view and the hanging omniscience of the bad character added to the wilderness of Devon in Elizabethan times. It is intergalactic travel, aliens, cohabiting with humans in such remote past.
It will be hard to leave the book once the reader has started it.

Surviving Anstey ~ is a Science Fiction Adventurous Book which tells the story of Love through Time and Space. The book entails Romance, filled with action-packed which is geared more mature readers.

Separated by Space and Time, the two find commonality and must develop their own special power to fake on their oppressors and fight back. The dialogue too was an effective blend between this historical time and the futuristic and highly developed alien refugees.

This sounds like a very unique premise to the story! And I love novels set in a historical setting, will all the 'rough diamond' qualities of darkness, danger and mysticism. And, to top it up, it is set in the beautiful Devon! This definitely goes right up my list.

Thank you for such a thorough, informative and inspired review!

This science-fiction fantasy of time-traveling beautifully transports its time traveler from a distant planet to the earth and in Elizabethan times.

Nicely written review. At the outset the thrill and suspense of the book hits you. The author draws you in with her almost mesmerizing style of writing that just flows word into word. But while other-worlds empire stories and sci-fi genres are always intriguing, I can be pretty sensitive to themes that revolve around slave trade, brutality and violence. Still I am sufficiently curious to learn more about the romance between Thomas and Kat; I am curious too to discover how the four rebels fare in their getaway plot. Thus, I do believe that I will add Surviving Anstey to my shelves.
