It is obvious that the key word in this story is "magical" also repeated ad libidum in the review.
Magic seems to continue to have an attraction nowadays, yet I wonder what you meant by
The characters are portrayed in a magical yet relatable fashion
. How can one portray in a
magical fashion
?
I suppose I'll have to read the book to find out.
Thank you for the detailed review!

Thank you for the nicely written review of Awakening by Tayma Tameem. I thought the book cover was really well done and sure to capture attention from their intended audience. After reading the reviews and summary of the book it strikes me as an interesting fantasy novel, one that illustrates how love conquers evil. I like the idea of the dual timeline and the fact that the story unfolds in a magical land. This reminded me of a great classic, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It will be interesting to see how the younger Katja finds her way back to her sister Amara and helps her to control her power of summoning and controlling ice.

I believe this will be a great read for young people and others who enjoy fantasy novels. The cover illustration is very well done and sure to capture the attention of the intended audience.

This is a great one for fantasy fans. The characters sound really interesting and it’s great when a book transitions from different time periods well. I like the idea of a princess of ice, it sounds like a wonderful story. Thanks for a great review.

Thanks, but I very rarely read fantasy these days, and this tale that "explores the intricate tapestry of family bonds" will not be the exception.

This story sounds interesting and the cover is attractive, I love it. The plot of the story is similar to the movie "Frozen".
Nice review.

This sounds like the author got her inspiration from the movie, Frozen. Did it read like Frozen fan fiction? This isn't my preferred genre so I'll take a pass on this, but it sounds creative and well done.

This fantasy novel sounds like a wonderful story with an important message that needs to be repeated often. However, it's not for me. Great review!

Awakening" by Tayma Tameem Two princesses, Katja, the elder sister to Amara. Amara was born with the power to control ice, unfortunately, this tends to happen when she is angry and her anger turns people and things to ice. Katja protects Amara as much as she can, but one day wakes up in a forest with no memory. A magical fantasy novel awaits your reading pleasure. Great review. Thanks.
