Joseph Silva in this sci-fi novel seems to be an interesting individual. Any theory that does not put you at any form of risk is not one, in my opinion. I love the stance of Daisy, his daughter regarding her father's work. Congrats to the author on BOTD. Insightful review.

I checked out the sample but just didn't find myself becoming engaged. I prefer books with more character development and not so clinical in scientific fact, so this one doesn't fit into my area of interest. Nevertheless, best wishes to the authors on finding an appreciative reading audience.

A book that delves right into the plot is very rare, especially if it is in the science fiction genre. However, I think the plot is a bit complicated for me; I'll skip this book. Thanks for this great review!

This book is about family, love, values, and legacies. The sheer grit and perseverance with which Joseph Silva pursues his idea are inspiring. He also instills this in his daughter, creating a legacy of strength and resilience. Joseph said to Daisy, "Let no one tell you what you have to do. Believe in something and fight for it to the end." Readers may want to take a note out of Joseph's book, not only in the pursuit of dreams and ambitions but also in simple ideas at the core of who we are.
-I agree with this. At last, a book after my own heart! Excellent review. Thank you.

Sounds very interesting, I am very much interested in owning a printed copy because this kind of content needs constant re-visits and location should not be a barrier of access into such read, I could make it my travel buddy and keep it handy.

The review is awesome and I must say that "singularity " is the kind book I love to read .Daisy dedicating her life to proving her father's theory and restoring his honor is a brave deed which is as a result of love for him. Reading this book is not even an option for me

Unfortunately, Sci-Fi/Fantasy is really not my cup of tea even if I do have a keen interest in worldwide problems like global warming. So maybe I will read it when and if the right mood strikes me. Congratulations with BOTD!

I was surprised at how brief the book is but seeing as it is a quick read I have already begun the first chapters. Being a normie the technical terminology might be difficult for me but since i like the premise of a daughter trying hard to prove her father was right i am willing to overlook that and contiinue reading. thanks for the review

"Singularity" by Jayme A. Oliveira Filho and Jayme S. Alencar is a novel whose theme is the coexistence of man and nature as well as the danger of climate change. The book is concise and relatively short, which makes it easy to read.

The book seems quite interesting and thought-provoking making the reader think about what will happen to our planet because of our inactivity. Besides a lot of readers will appreciate the lenght of the book. Nevertheless it is too technical with lots of scientific terms for my taste. Still I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I like how well-informed this science-fiction book is. It seems like not everyone could understand it, so I like a challenge. Congrats!

I really like the introduction to the book - you've given me enough information about the climate change threat, black hole theory and being ostracized by the scientific community that has piqued my interest, but also makes me want to find out what happens. I'm a big sucker for character development, so it is good to note that this may not be a strong suit in this book. A big thank you for the heads up about the science jargon - I am personally not a 'science geek' so it is good to be prepared to read that. I really like how you could see the similarities between the novel and the threat we are facing in the world with humankind activities on our planet. "Singularity" seems like a book with an interesting topic, but I'm not sure I would enjoy reading it with so many errors.

Thank you very much for an insightful and honest review!! :techie-studyingbrown:

The focus on humanity's relationship with climate change in Singularity is a key element of the novel. The authors explore the potential impact of human activity on the Earth's ability to sustain life.

This book didn’t do enough to draw me in from the beginning. It’s very much climate change/civilisation won’t be able to survive at the start, before going straight into the main character's thought process for identifying that a black hole may be the answer all in chapter 1.
