Call me old fashion, but I believe that some spheres require human interaction. It is impossible to expect from robot to create an art piece driven by inspiration and not simple coping technical details. The same way one can't expect that robot feels for someone and understand their problems.

Robot therapists are replacing human doctors in psychotherapy- a unique and exciting plot! However, will all go awry when it gains self-awareness and manifest unrestricted changes? I am anxious to see what happens! Terrific book review, and congrats to the authors, Sullivan and Houghtaling!

I am convinced that the topic of this book is not as much science fiction as it might seem.

This book sounds interesting. I understand the concept behind having a "self-evolving" robot to enable better care going forward, but I can also see the dangers about that if it can start making its own changes and decisions.

Even though I'm not a huge sci-fi lover, I'm curious to see how a robot, especially one that provides therapy would fit into society. Interesting review

Great review! I read a bit of the sample of the book online, and immediately got pulled into the plot. I laughed at McGann trying to ask out his female colleagues in such an awkward way - and was also interested in what project would make Signy quit a job with a days notice. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

The topic of artificial intelligence psychotherapy is an interesting angle to explore. I read sci-fi novels before, but none approached this topic. I think I would like to find out what John and James found out through their research. Great review!

There are more and more books revolving around artificial intelligence these, and it's great to see that this one delivers, with interesting main characters. I look forward to seeing how the invention helps with mental health.

Science fiction with clinical psychology and robots that help with mental health issues. This book sounds interesting. Thank you for this review.

Seems like a really interesting book to read, although I prefer to watch science fiction. Personally, I can't trust robots to work by themselves without humans supervision. Atrtificial intelligence is a double edged sword. Thank you for the amazing review!

Combining science fiction and romance, today's BOTD follows RT9, a robot therapist created to improve the quality of life for humans. Readers interested in psychotherapy, as well as AI and its consequences, sound like they're in for a treat with this one! Thank you for the helpful review! :-)

'Official Review: Walden 3.0' by Arthur Sullivan & Mary Houghtaling presents a detailed and thorough account of the contents of the book about principles of psychotherapy and research for avid readers. It well focuses on the theme of the stories of the development of artificial intelligence and its consequences for readers. The point that the plot describes the exploration of robotic development outside the parameters of Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics in this fascinating field is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the artistic insight that supplemented the philosophic segments of the book was appreciable, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book would appeal to readers that enjoy the development of artificial intelligence and its consequences!

While this book sounds like it could be interesting to others, I don’t think I’m necessarily a fan of the robotics theme of the story. Great review though!
