Thank you for this thorough review of time travel to the past. I'm going to pass on this book because this is not my usual read. I did enjoy your description of the characters and what their plight was. Congratulations on BOTD.

Today's BOTD is a scifi time travel novel with elements of fantasy and adventure. Although it's not the one for me, readers who enjoy well-developed characters and vivid descriptions will love this engaging read. Thank you so much for your helpful review amd keep up the great work! :-)

The world-building, time travel, and how Keiji and Hazi go about their lives when they are met with unforseen challenges got me curious to read the book. The book seems to have enough suspense and excitement. It's a thrilling fantasy and science fiction novel I have to read. Congratulations BOTD!

You wrote an excellent review. The book sounds very exciting, with a lot of action with dragons and time travel and such. However, this is not my cup of tea, so I will pass on this book. I'm sure that those who like sci-fi will thoroughly enjoy Kantara.

The pacing is spot on, ensuring a constant engagement with the story, whether it's the heart-pounding action sequences or the moments of reflection. And kudos to the authors for delivering such a professionally edited work, with minimal errors.

Whoa, I'd like to know Hazi's beauty secret. To break the law and be thrown into an adventure at that age!

I'm no fan of fantasy, though, and dragons don't interest me. I'll leave this book, and Hazi's secret, to the younger crowd.

The Traveler" is an engaging concept that combines elements of time travel, superhuman abilities, and intergalactic conflict. The story appears to blend elements of science fiction and fantasy, promising an exciting and adventurous narrative.

The main character, Keiji, being a modern college student who is thrust into this extraordinary situation, allows for relatability and character development as he adapts to his new reality and acquires superhuman abilities.

The quest for the Kantara Scrolls serves as a central plot point, providing a clear goal and sense of purpose for Keiji and his companions. This ancient artifact holding the key to defeating a malevolent force adds an element of mystery and intrigue to the storyline.

The mention of dynamic characters suggests a diverse and interesting supporting cast that will likely contribute to the depth and complexity of the narrative. Their interactions and relationships with Keiji can drive character-driven subplots and add emotional depth to the story.

The impending intergalactic attack and the looming apocalypse provide a high-stakes backdrop for the story, ensuring constant tension and action. The unforeseen enemy promises a thrilling climax and potential plot twists that can keep readers or viewers engaged.

Overall, "The Traveler" seems to have the ingredients for an exciting and compelling adventure, combining elements of time travel, superpowers, and an epic struggle for the fate of Earth. The success of the story will depend on the execution of these elements and the development of its characters and world-building

What a coincidence! Just today my Sci-Fi/Fantasy-loving daughter was complaining about a lack of a new book to read and you so timely recommended an interesting story! While I don't enjoy the genre myself, I still try to influence my kids into developing a taste for quality literature and this book is a prime example of it!

Exhilaration and anticipation abound in "Kantara" by Mary and Stephen Weller a Sci-Fi thriller that is the BOTD for the online book club for September 14, 2023. The cover of this book is intriguing and interesting from the start! The subtitle is: The Traveler, and our main character is called Keiji who is transported from current day to the SECOND AGE and immediately finds a scroll and a 226 year old woman who will assist our hero. There are giants, soldiers and even dragons in this post-apocalypse world and there are many strange creatures which could be friend or foe. There is a lot of powerful action and some writing that allows the reader time to reflect on the happenings within the well-balanced story with well-developed characters and a true hero-in-the-making between the pages of this book.
If you're going through hell, keep going.
