Corrupt leaders and scientists start biological warfare by releasing a zombie virus that starts a zombie apocalypse. Ryan has to fight zombies and madmen who kill everyone in sight out of fear. This is an exciting, tense story. I enjoyed reading your review.

Reading Dead Reckoning was like diving headfirst into a whirlwind of chaos and resilience. The web of survival, morally gray decisions, and unexpected alliances engrossed me. Hall's ability to weave scientific speculation with gripping storytelling made every page captivating.
I believe in something greater than myself.

In this new world, Ryan, his loved ones, and his crew have not only zombies to worry about but also mad men who, in the struggle for survival, have been driven by the state of emergency to act rationally and kill whoever stands in their way of survival.
- That is quite a set of things to worry about and I'm curious and Intrigued to find out if their decisions or strategies worked the best. The review was great, thank you.

After reading the plot of the book Dead Reckoning: Book Two of The Nights of the Apocalypse Series by David K. Hall, I was reminded of the many Zombie movies I was too scared to watch. Maybe reading about them would not be that scary. Congratulations on BOTD.

I'm not into sci-fi, dystopia, or zombies. So I am going to miss this story. But I am sure the book will find its following, especially because it is a masterpiece.

It is new to me that an action-packed thriller has gay heroes in it. This obviously makes the book more inclusive and less exclusive at the same time. Congrats to the author for being more inclusive. :techie-studyinggray:

I have read a lot of zombie apocalypse movies but never read a book on one. I'm particularly interested in finding out the means of the breakout and spread of the virus in the book and how the characters survive the breakout.
