There has been much speculation and many novels as well as movies, predicting that the Earth will be destroyed by something from outer space, usually a meteor. It must be dreadful knowing that you have only 5 years to live unless you're one of the lucky ones chosen to travel to another planet. Thank you for the review.

As a science student, I really enjoy books about science or related topics. I'm not usually a fan of science fiction unless it feels realistic. however, I find the book a bit too unrealistic I mean I know it's a novel and it can be anything but I just didn't like it personally.
I value the learning process through feedback. If you have a moment, I'd be grateful for any thoughts on my work to help me enhance my skills. :tiphat:

The book features classic sci-fi themes like extinction, space exploration, and the discovery of new planets. Science and technology will continue to advance over time, but what makes these themes timeless is that they show humanity's relentless and unwavering spirit to survive and perpetuate the species.

I love sci-fis and this one sounds like a thrilling read, especially with a situation where the world is predicted to end in just five years. I'm definitely adding this to my reading list!

We listen to the news all the time: A comet is approaching Earth, the world is going to die, and so on. What if that really becomes a reality one day? The author tried to bring it to life. Congratulations on BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

I find it really intriguing that a wrapped drive would be able to propel spacecrafts to the edge of the solar system. If not to ask myself what I'll do if the world were to end in 5 years, I'd definitely read this book even otherwise for its descriptions of futuristic technology.

It would be interesting to see Garret Long and his team scrambling to prepare for a new life on a new planet.

Exodus paints a vivid picture of humanity's resilience and adaptability in the face of impending doom. The characters' depth and evolution, especially Garret Long's altruism and President McCann's unexpected heroism, add layers of complexity to an already gripping narrative. Kudos to the authors for their meticulous research and seamless integration of scientific details, making astrophysics accessible and engaging. The editor's precision is evident, enhancing the overall reading experience. This thought-provoking tale prompts introspection, leaving readers pondering their own choices in the face of catastrophe. A compelling 5-star journey for both sci-fi enthusiasts and anyone craving a captivating story with universal themes.

Your review is very enlightening! I gleaned from sampling this book that Aquarius mission led by Garrett's father was desperately urgent and important, and from your review I have learned why. I agree that this is a gripping tale that deserves all the stars!

This science fiction novel seems realistic to me and I wonder if the neutron star named Ulysses would impact before a new earth is found.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction story set in a world where an approaching star is destined in destroying Earth and where scientists attempt to figure out a way to flee the planet and survive. Will they succeed? It might be worth a second look. Well done.
